Has anyone ever had their Ascendant exactly conjunct a person's Descendant? (In this case my friend's Cancer ascendant is at the same degree as a gentleman's whom she just began dating...)

What was it like? And has anyone read anything about that aspect? I have not found anything on it...

Hi, Lilygirl.
I have this with my older sister. We faught like cats & dogs, but most siblings DO. We were very different people. She was a straight A student, quite volitile emotionally, and I was this easygoing slacker, but way more popular (and better looking ) than her. She has Gemini rising, and I have Sagittarius rising - me 3 degrees, her 5 degrees. But I still love her. She's my pal. She's 2 years older than me.

I'd say your assessment of this aspect is dead on, Lilygirl. You exasperate each other, but totally get each other at the same time. Opposites aren't all that opposite sometimes. That, and the strong relationship to the DC, or 7th house cusp almost guarentees that you'll have a one-on-one relationship wit this person.

I have this with my bf. We're very close. Our Suns are opposite, our Ascendants are opposite, and our moons are conjunct (Mercuries trined). 7th house stands for partnership so it makes sense to feel like partnering up with someone who fits the 7th qualities you're looking for. We have different ways of dealing with things. He tends to seem cooler and harsher to ppl (cap asc)..and I seem pretty approachable and caring (gem/cancer cusp). The thing is, he isn't actually harsh or cool at all, its just the way he *seems* but.. ppl tend to take it the wrong way sometimes.. That's when I end up annoyed by it. I feel he unnecessarily distances himself and puts up walls. On the other hand, he ends up annoyed by my attitude when he thinks ppl would take advantage because I have no boundaries and I'm too accepting, as he put it. But this only comes out, on occasion, if we’re having an argument. It's not an issue with us. At the end of the day I like him the way he is regardless and I know he feels the same way..

I have to say (I’m an aries).. I don't feel oppositions with Libras much, in general. I don't get an exasperating vibe.. If anything it's a friendly vibe and chit-chatty, similar to Gemini. It'd take a lot for me and any of the Libras I know to actually have a serious argument or end up disliking each other. I can't see it happening.
