How do you read the chart for a gay man? My supervisor at work is gay. For his partner do I look at his mars/sun signs? What does his moon venus signs signify?and is there a PROPER term used? I'd hate to offend another....... ID IP: Logged |

I think it would be the same as straight astrology.I'm guessing that for synastry, attraction would still be Mars/Venus, Sun/Moon... and the partner who is the Sun and Mars in the connections would be the more dominant and masculine partner. Just like in heterosexual astrology, regardless of sex, the more dominant/masculine energy is the Sun/Mars person. Works the same I imagine. IP: Logged |

Personally, I've always believed that homosexuality screws up astrology, at least to some extent. Everything in astrology has to do with Yin/Yang and I really feel that homosexual relationships and their energies mess up the system. *Note: before I get ripped on by all those proud homosexuals, I need to say that my opinion is completely scientifically based, and has nothing to do with moral or religious beliefs. I strongly believe in freedom of choice, and matters of sexual preference are completely an individual's business and should not be judged by others. IP: Logged |

You read the chart basically the same way but take into consideration the "alternative lifestyle aspects"For instance lets say your boss has Venus square Neptune or Uranus, in order to be compatible you have to look for aspects in the other chart connecting the same two planets (for attraction) Another complimentary aspect would be Mars aspecting Uranus or Neptune. Its still yin and yang. Then of course look for the regular aspects you find connecting hetrosexual couples like a Sun/Moon connection. First and formost with any kind of attraction look for one persons planets to aspect the others Ascendant (and vice versa). ------------------ Courage is fear that's said its prayers Michael Cole IP: Logged |
