Based on Sun Signs alone, what are the chances a pairing of a Scorpio and an Aquarius would work out? I personally don't know a Scorpio but for some reason I've always been(intensely) attracted to Scorpios, or the idea of one anyway. Which is funny because I don't have anything in my chart to suggest an attraction to a Scorpio. That I know of anyway. I have Aquarius on the DCS, Mercury in my 7th house, Venus in Sag in the fifth, and Mars in Aries in the ninth. Maybe there's something I'm missing. IP: Logged |

oh, God.. some days I feel like I could write a book about the Aqua/Scorp dynamic. I've had a lot of exposure to it (I'm an Aqua female). It's complicated as hel-l..but there is definitely something there. They meet on common ground, on some planet where the other signs don't bother to follow them. Both are attracted to the strangeness of humanity, though Scorpio are more drawn to explore/understand the darker side, and Aquas just the generally bizzare. They both laugh at convention and hate predictable situations. They play mind games with each other.. both think they have the upper hand but are secretly confused and intimidated by the other.. I find the Aquarians are Scorpios are subconsciously trying to impress each other. They definitely care what the other thinks of them, though both signs usually don't care what others think. There is a lot of respect here, understanding. But then there is this essential difference in their nature that is difficult to get over if you want a very intimate relationship. Scorpios love mysteries, but only when they feel they can solve them. Aquas are so random and mutable that they can't really be "solved" (there IS no answer), and this frustrates Scorpios. Aquas get frustrated by the Scorpio's pride, and when they aren't in the mood to get along. Both are good at ignoring, being aloof and cold, so they hurt each other like that. Both are proud, actualy. Scorpios want somebody who can be completely present and THERE in important moments (for example- sexual situations), but Aquarians are always a little removed from everything. This attracts Scorpios at first.. but eventually becomes a problem. Basically, a lot of powerful and inexplicable energy/attraction, but I'm sad to say that I think this is one of the rarest combinations to work out in the long run (but not impossible!) Usually both of them want to scream "we're perfect for each other", and they will be compatible on so many levels.. but there will be just something essential that is wrong.. wrong time, wrong place.. or just something missing. These seem to be very karmically infused relationships.Good look finding a Scorpio.. I will tell you I've had some of the best times of my life with them. (and worst) it's probably worth all the crap, however.. if it does manage to work out. IP: Logged |

'ffooofh' - that's that little sucking noise made through the mouth. You get this when someone says something a bit steep, like when you take you're car into a dealer and tell him how much you want in px, or similarly when you try and combine Aquarius and Scorpio. Bit like trying to 'merge' Sagittarius with Pisces. *ffooofh* There's that sound again.------------------ Forum Administrator. 4th December 1974 18:00GMT Southampton UK Always out-numbered. I dated an Aqua for a while. He was really a nice guy. I don't think I could've made anything long-term with him... but he was interesting and always showed me a great time. _________________________________________ Scorpio sun, venus, mars, mercury, and uranus Libra moon, pluto, and asc. I'm an Aquarian female and my favorite sign is Scorpio. My two role models are both Scorpios. Scorpio men and I don't get along smoothly, but I've met many good female Scorp companions throughout my life. I admire Scorp's power. And personally, I do not think the Aqua+Scorp combo is same as the Sag+Pisces combination it's just complex ------------------ May not be able to get back to you...appreciate your say nevertheless...D IP: Logged |

I'm neither Scorp nor Aqua, but I like to observe the sign combinations in our culture in general. It seems like you see a lot of Scorp/Aqua pairings but it's almost ALWAYS a Scorp female and an Aqua male. Kind of like the Pisces/Gem dynamic, with the Gem usually being female. There are several celebrity couples right now with this combination: Ashton Kutcher/Demi Moore, Julia Roberts/Danny Moder, Rebecca Romjin/Jerry O'Connell. They definitely seem to be drawn together, but I can't necessarily say it's good for the long term. It's probably an "opposites attract" thing, but the differences may be too great in the end. I agree, I think Scorps have an edge over all the other signs. You don't usually find anyone who "dislikes" Scorpios. Even if people tend not to get along with them, they usually have great respect for them. Leo's are the kings of the zodiac, but Scorps are the rulers. It's something about their mystery and intensity that draws you in. See, you've been "seduced" by them without even really knowing one yet. And boy, do they ever seduce! They don't even have to try. In fact, you'll find that they never really even talk about sex much. They don't imply it either...very little innuendo. They do it all with their eyes. Seduction is simply part of who they are, the way Aries is just naturally impulsive. I actually had a conversation with my Scorp about this the other day. I told him all he had to do was look at me and it made me want to f*ck him! He just laughed his a*s off, but it's so true! IP: Logged |

EccentricGypsy28, Best of luck finding your Scorpio mate. I/m a female Aqua, currently dating a Scorpio guy. We get along great. In my experience dating a Scorpio has been very positive. Of course that might have something to do with my chart. I would love some feed back on the compatability.Me:February 17 1977 5:10 AM Time Zone is CST nashville, TN Him: October 24 1967 12:30 AM Time Zone is MST saskatoon, CAN IP: Logged |

I know of an Aquarian who has been married to a Scorpio lady since 1972 and they are still going stronger than ever. Maybe what makes it work is that he has a few cappy planets....I never did look at their charts in depth....ID IP: Logged |

The aqua thinks the scorpio is too manipulative and possessive. The Scorp thinks the Aqua is too detached and flirtatous (When really she's just friendly- the scorp's just paranoid)Obviously not a good match!! But I heard they have great sexual compatability they're usually attracted to each other in the first meet. IP: Logged |

CrankyCap,I know how it is: Aries on the 3rd, Gemini on the 5th, Mars closely conjunct Mercury in Sagittarius trine Jupiter in Leo... AND Moon in the 1st house (you know, the one that cant help but say EVERYTHING that comes to mind)... Jupiter also squares my sun and oppositions that pesky moon. So,.... Yeah, I'm right there with you, lol. But, don't sweat it. Your candor is a thing of beauty. hsc IP: Logged |

EccentricGypsy28 -We had a relatively recent thread on this, I'm also very interested in the Aqua/Scorp dynamics. We got into a heavy discussion regarding the following, I can't find the thread right now, but read this ::: www.panplanet.com/articles/antiscia.htm ------------------ ... it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness IP: Logged |

I understand aquarians the least but that's the pull I guess. I miss my Granny who was an aquarius sun. The only thing aqua I have is my North Node. So I'm thriving to be like my dear Granny. She was a real humanitarian ...she helped the sick and needy until she died last year aged 86. She was murdered last year, in her own home, it has never been solved. And yet all she did all her life was help people. God bless her, she's with the angels now. But I do miss her.
