shirty unregistered	posted July 20, 2006 10:27 AM Hello all, How many people here have tattoos based on astrology in some way? Planets, signs, symbols, etc? I see a lot of people with a tattoo of their sun sign but I wonder if they actually study astrology or if it's just because it looks cool. I think if I got a tattoo I'd get the symbol of Jupiter since I'm a Sag. I really like the look of it.. I have, on my back, the Druadic Threefold Triple Goddess, which in Celtic symbology represents the maiden, mother, crone, the 3 aspects of womanhood/goddess. However, I have also seen the symbol in reference to the everywoman of Pisces, which I am a Pisces sun/Venus and loosly coorelated to the trident of the God Neptune! On my foot is a tribal fish, that I had custom drawn for me (the Celtic symbol was also custom.) I could not find or draw a Pisces glyph that I was happy enough with, so I decided on the tribal fish. On my hip is a crescent moon with stars going across it, which is something I saw in the early morning sky shortly after my husband died and symbolizes my unending attraction to the heavens! I have alot of Aqua in my birth chart and my next tat will have something to do with Aquarius! This will be an interesting thread! Thanks for starting! Terri IP: Logged

If I ever get a tattoo it will definitely involve astrology in some way! Yours sound unique! Do you have any pictures by any chance? I think that would be cool. I knew a girl in college that had the Cancer symbol scrolled across both of her big toes. That looked cool, but she said it hurt like he*l! IP: Logged

I do have a Gothic-style Crucifix on my right thigh though. My Scorpio friend was thinking about this one day. She said she didn't want the scorpion istelf though. She said it was too masculine for her (that's her libra venus talking ). But she also said she hated the latin symbol too. secretseeker unregistered	posted July 20, 2006 11:58 AM I have 4 tattoos and my most recent one is the Sagittarius symbol. Only got it a couple of months ago. I'm really chuffed with it, it's my favorite tattoo. Would love to get the Jupiter symbol too. CrankyCap, love your idea of having sun, moon and asc in triangle. I might incorporate personal symbols into my next tattoo... But the one that pretty much just finished healing up, is a peacock feather, but I find it very phoenix like.... I love it, reminds me of egyptian art. I'm thinking of getting it done either on my ankle or my shoulder. I also want one on my lower back, soemthing that symbolizes freedom. Anyoen have any ideas??? Devilfish unregistered	posted August 01, 2006 10:34 AM nice tatts everyone i have my pisces glyph on my neck (right side) it looks airbrushed ,its turqouise blue and has 2 fancy black letters (husbands initials) in black laid over it, i also have a peace symbol on my left inner ankle. my husband has one on the left side on his neck its a green sag glyph with my initials laid over it, he also has two full arm sleeves and a dragon on his back.
