I just realized not too long ago that my Mars is very prominent in my chart. It's an Air singleton, heavily afflicted, and rules my 6th and 7th houses.

All my life, I've had issues with being "too pushy". I've always been a hot-head (especially when a baby and a child), always been extremely independent, and always looking for some kind of conflict to test my "strength" in.

For most of my life, I'd thought it had been part of all the Plutonian influence in my chart. I'm sure that adds a pretty sharp overtone to it, however, I'm glad I realize now. I see how it's all connected.

People always found me a little odd, (okay, extremely odd) - that's probably the Aquarius...mainly because of the simple things I do (Mars). I never really noticed why...but they just asumed I was the weirdest person ever...(and still do). I unintentionally shock people when I'm just myself...so I spent a lot of time trying not to be (Libra Asc- fitting in...)

I've always had a fascination with weapons, artillery, war, fighting, and anything that goes along with that. Since I was 12, I've always wanted a gun license...I wanted to collect them and showcase them in my home. My parents found this as signs of being a "trouble child" however, they realized (too late) that I'm anything but...

I've also realized that even though my taste in men has been towards the refined, educated, doctor type who takes me out to fancy social parties and dresses exquisitely well...I've always attracted either exteremly aggressive type men, like "men's men" with really closeminded traditional views of women, or passive-aggressive types who I tend to boss around until they can't take it and turn into the extreme agressive types...(only worse because it's been suppressed)..

I also have had this thing where women and other female friends of mine are frequently hurt/defensive against me... They've called me brash, and rude, (often when I don't notice I'm doing anything at all...I'm thinking I'm being quite friendly)..however, they don't tend to gravitate towards me much. It's always been guys who I've considered my best friends. I relate to them much better than I do with women (also have a heavily afflicted Moon singleton).

Health wise, I've just found out that I have far too much testosterone in my blood...and it causes me to have hormonal problems and issues. I've heard that obviously Mars rules testosterone and Aquarius rules blood... Because of this, I develop larger muscle mass (according to the doctor) which could be why I appear so "strong" to others. I've been told that though I look/dress/act quite feminine and girly at times, my stature is strong..a little too strong, I've been told..

These are just some issues I've noticed/dealt with and that have come to light with realizing just how important Mars is in my horoscope...what about the other women here?
Any other heavily Mars or Plutonian dominated women? How does it affect you?

My sister is a Scorpio Rising with Pluto in the first but I wouldn't call her rude. She has a temper that shows itself infrequently but when it does comes out....ouch. The way she Call me crazy but I think the Pluto in her chart is what causes other women to be jealous of her?? Its soooo weird.

I have a prominent mars. First of all I have pluto in the first house (end of first house, and in scorpio), and libra rising like alanabelle86, so i can be and appear quite feminine. However I also have Gemini sun conjunct mars and merc, and venus, my chart ruler, is in aries in the seventh sextile mars. Also I have moon in scorp and saturn conj it there, so i consider mars pretty imp in my chart...

I was TOTALLY nodding to everything alanabelle was saying. for one thing i def get along better with guys than i do with girls. Im not too much of a hot head but I can be in relationships and my relationships are often very tumultuous (love relationships). Also I am very argumentative to the piont of being confrontational and extremely aggressive verbally (mars in gemini?). I am also always challenging myself. My fascination is not with guns like alanabelle but politics, power, and money--fields full of men and predominantly male. I did my bachelors in business as well, another heavily male dominated field... People also first find me pleasant and funny and attractive but later think I am offensive or appear too strong in my opinons, which also happen to be weird (like totally offbeat religions opinions, or feminist views, or political perspective).

Like alanabelle Ive been with too many aggressive alpha male type men who are very chivalric but also chauvinistic. Very romantic dashing and greatlovemakers and fighters (boxer, kung fu player etc) but it falls apart too fast becoz my gem stellium wants some intellectual companion.

I also have health issues so far as hormones go and am going to get tested in two weeks for hormone imbalances. Strange...hmm.

Love
SG

SG,

I know what you mean with politics, power, money etc. I actually was going to get into politics because unfortunately, I don't do very well with authority (actually, I'm horrible with authority, just ask my Cappy Mom and Taurus father...). I think that has something to do with Mars also... but especially 4th house Mars (AQUA) opposite 10th house Moon (LEO) will do that.

...I'm also a Marketing major with a minor in Communications/PR...every field I've wanted to enter has been based on the 3 extremes for me...power, money and prestite.. but what's odd is that even tho I realize I identify strongly with will that one would consider traditional of men, I would flip if anyone told me it was a "mans" field... I heard a Mars singleton/prominent Mars can be somewhat of a pioneer in whatever they decide to take as "life's work". No matter what I've wanted to do (from politics, to nuclear astrophysics, to marketing)...I've always wanted to be the first "woman" to really pave the way in this day and age...

What seems to be the most apparent thing however, is an overwhelming desire to be free in every aspect of my life. And it's almost like a constant struggle to ensure absolute freedom, usually only evident when I'm in a relationship because then I feel "caged in".

My Mars is square my Sun, Pluto, and Venus. It's opposite my Moon and MC, conjunct my IC. So it may be a little harder to handle I would presume....

How refreshing! Like minded or should I say Mars minded women. My Mars is actually one of my least afflicted planets. I have numerous Tsquares!
  • Mars in Gemini 10th
  • Moon square Mars
  • Mars opposing Jupiter
I work in a male dominated field. I am a chef. When it is good it is very very good. But when I have to be subservient or play to the un-evolved my independant nature always gets me into trouble. I do not like being told what to do by wanna-be prema donas! I have sucked it up for years to pay my dues. I need to be my own boss. I just need to find something lucrative enough to provide for the future. I love Jet Lei and Martial Arts; spiritual action like 'House of Flying Daggers' and 'Hero' that combine the romantic with spiritual a@@ kicking! along with an awesome soundtrack

Wow, do I ever relate to a lot of what you wrote AB!
Pluto is actually my dominant planet with Mars being in the top 5. I also have Mars conjunct Pluto... so you can just imagine.
I loved what you said about being attracted either to really aggressive or passive aggressive men! I am exactly the same way. I have this horrible paradox where I can't stand the thought of any man telling me what to do or dominating me in any way but I also can't stand a man who isn't man enough to try! It's quite the dilemma, isn't it?

"Unbelievably idealistic, sometimes she searches in vain for that brave knight in shining armor, who will sweep her off her feet, conquer the world, hand it to her gently and yet never sacrifice his manhood. Since he exists only in fairy tales and the myths of King Arthur's court, the Aries woman often walks alone, without a star to guide her."

Yes. Mars in Aquarius, in the first house, Cap ruler of first house. I also have always been friends with boys. I offend women constantly without meaning to, and I often feel like I am bending over backwards to avoid offending them.
