What does this mean:

If someone's sun and moon midpoint conjuncts my Juno...?

*performs a thread resurrection*

This thread interests me so I'll give my 2˘.

In my opinion, Juno is what we want in a marriage (women) or what we want in a wife. Your Sun/moon midpoint is your behavior while in a marriage. Kinda like what role you'll play out naturally.

So if someone's Juno conjuncts your Sun/moon midpoint, or vice versa, then what is wanted and what is acted are the same. I personally don't see this aspect holding a lot of weight (like N.Node/S.Node contacts, Sun, Moon, etc.), but it is a nice anchoring factor. Just another reason why so-and-so makes such a wonderful partner.

That's really interesting. I never thought about it that way, but it kind of makes sense. I was very Cancerian in my marriage but my Juno is also in Sagittarius and there was another part of me which flew by the seat of my pants and wanted to travel all the time and hated being little suzie homemaker lol

midpoints
I have my chart ruler Uranus conj Sun/moon midpoint and mercury conj Asc/MC midpoint. These two are the most important as far as midpoints go. They can be very sensitive points, espec to progressions, transits and solar arcs. To watch/research how these points play out make a note of the degree for example my sun/moon = 3' 05" taururs, but any at that degree in 'fixed' will be considered same as conj, square or opposition. Same with Asc/MC being 'outlet or exit points' for planets energies. So although I have mercury retrograde natally, having this conj Asc/MC I've always known that communications, written, verbal, relating, analysing are important to me but in practical way (taurus merc) http://www.cafeastrology.com/astrologytopics/midpoints.html http://www.noendpress.com/pvachier/midpoints/index.php http://www.aquamoonlight.co.uk/midpoints.html http://www.astrocollege.com/campus/libraries/The_Magic_Of_Midpoints.pdf

The orb has to be very tight 1’ or max 1’30” to be effective though

My sun is at 16Leo and my Moon is at 15Leo..

So my midpoint is still right there in the same area.. What ever hits one always hits the other... Not to mention my Mercury at 14Leo...

So does that mean my Midpoint wouldn't really make any difference for me? Since it already hits both my Sun and Moon?

Lioness, it's only relevent IF you have a planet in fixed degree on that midpoint like I have my chart ruler Uranus conj sun/moon. If you don't have any planet there, it will still be sensitive but only to transits progressions and solar arcs

Love,

That sounds excellent goods news and very strong indicator in synastry

When looking at a woman’s chart the type of man she would look for is her sun sign and mars traits, plus 7th house planets and house cusp ruler and where that ruler was deposited.
When looking at a mans chart for the type of woman he would look for is his venus and moon sign and then 7th house planets and house cusp ruler and where that ruler was deposited.

Although synastry is a valuable tool with astrology it cannot 'make things happen' even if you have the best synastry in the world unfortunately..

I am simply just focusing on the 'red lines' which represent challenges ie: 90'square and 180' oppositions aspects, rather than the blue lines which suggests an easly flow of planetary energies ie: sextile 60' and trines 120' aspects.

If you want to research more into synastry try here http://cafeastrology.com/astrology_of_relationships.html http://www.cafeastrology.com/synastry/interchartaspects.html http://www.cafeastrology.com/synastry_house_overlays.html http://www.astrology-numerology.com/synastry.html http://www.astrology-numerology.com/synastry-houses.html http://www.astrology-numerology.com/synastryaspects.html http://www.cosmitec-astrological-compatibility-advice.com/astrology-marriage.html http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=17513 http://www.astrotheme.com/synastry_advice.php

Unfortunately, there is no set formula or signature for marriage or childbirth, although others may disagree, apparently horary and vedic seem confident in this area. There are indicators and potential as there would be with natal, solar return chart but guarantees -- (post 2 & 3 below) http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?p=207744#post207744

Your chart is a blueprint of your personality, facets and penchants and the whole chart is 'potential' for development. There is nothing guaranteed or fatalistic in charts, I do believe we still do have free will. I also believe we chose our parents and childhood circumstances best suited to learning those Lessons in the best way we can.

I think it's worth bearing in mind that the natal chart, like solar returns is all about 'potential' but as we all know we don't always fulfil that potential do we.

It's like someone saying you can predict death, but with modern medicine and sciences the way they are and the potential to 'die' three times in a life, doesn't mean to say you will does it

I think lots of people have unrealistic expectations about what astrology can and can't do. astrology is an 'art, science and craft' and not clairvoyance either. If there were a formula or signature, don't you think we would ALL be using it?

Predicting marriage and/or having children can be done, but it is not easy, time consuming and intricate. There are lots of things to take into consideration like, secondary progressions, what inter-aspects one chart makes to another, Solar arcs, Solar returns, Transits etc http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3192 http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3179 http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=14255

Do you have a planet within orb on your Sun/Moon midpoint?

This is an interesting link that I found a while ago when I was obsessed about having Pluto within orb there, frustrated because I couldn't find much.
