Just wondered if I'm interpreting this correctly (pls be patient as I'm still fairly new to chart/house interps! )

Just looking at my chart and seeing that my DC is Cap but my 7th house seems to straddle both Cap and Aqua - so does this mean that my partner's Aqua Sun, Moon, Mars and Venus fall into my 7th house? When I look at my placements in Astro.com it says Jupiter Aquarius 02°21'25 07 direct. Aqua also seems to account for much of my 8th house too so I'm a little confused.

Also, my partner's DC is Libra, but his 7th house seems to straddle Lib/Scorp. My Venus and Merc are in Scorp and my Sun, Uranus and Pluto are in Lib so does this mean I have a strong 7th/8th house presence in my partner's chart???

Would be so grateful for any help as I don't want to bark up the wrong tree so to speak!

Your Sun, Uranus and Pluto are in his 6th, your Mercury and Venus are in his 7th.

There's so much really lovely synastry going on here. Sun trine Moon, Sun trine Venus...sweet. And all that Moon loveliness with his Uranus, Neptune, Pluto and Saturn. Venus conjunct Neptune, as well...romantic, ahhhhhhhhh. Sun and Venus conjunct Jupiter...lots of good cheer and fun...and financial benefit. Yay for you guys!

Your beau must be quite attractive and charming with his Sun conjunct Venus. That's a lovely aspect to be gifted with.

The easiest way to tell this is to do a synastry chart between you in astro.com, but you can figure out this information from your chart as well. To start with, your Descendant (edge of the 7th house) is 23 degrees Capricorn. Looking at the table to the left of your chart you see that your 2nd house begins at 9 degrees Leo, indicating that your 8th house (house opposite the 2nd house) begins at 9 degrees Aquarius (sign opposite Leo). So your 7th house begins at 23 degrees Capricorn and ends at 9 degrees Aquarius. Any Aquarius planets which are greater than 9 degrees Aquarius are in your 8th house.

Now let's look at your partner's chart. We see that their Aquarius planets are at 1, 8, 10, and 23 degrees Aquarius. So their planets which are less than 9 degrees Aquarius (Sun at 1 degrees Aquarius and Venus at 8 degrees Aquarius) are focused in your 7th house. All the other of his Aquarian planets are greater than 9 degrees Aquarius (Moon and Mars) are focused in your 8th house.

Again, let's find your partner's Descendant. Their Descendant is at 23 degrees Libra. Looking at the table to the left of their chart we see that their 2nd house begins at 1 degree Gemini, so their 8th house begins at 1 degree Sagittarius. That means their 7th house begins at 23 degrees Libra and ends at 1 degree Sagittarius. Notice that the ENTIRE sign of Scorpio is contained in the 7th house. So any planets in Scorpio in your chart will be in their 7th house.

Now let's look at your chart. You have two planets in Scorpio (Mercury and Venus), both of which fall into your partner's 7th house. All Libra planets greater than 23 degrees will also be in your partner's 7th house. However, you have no Libra planets greater than 23 degress, so all your Libra planets fall into your partner's 6th house.

As mentioned, you can certainly figure it out this way, but I find doing a synastry chart MUCH easier!
