Venus-pluto could intensify the fantasy/desire for sadistic experiences, but it's Sun/Mars-Pluto aspects that would act it out. There might be some hard aspects to Neptune to help out as well.

I know this wasn't what you were asking, but the biggest ever aspect for sadism I've encountered.. was Mars aspecting Pluto negatively (mainly if close)..

A retrogade Venus might sometimes be perceived as this as well, due to withholding affection.

Never heard of venus-saturn causing it. Maybe someone who has it can clue us in?

However, I do have sun square pluto + mars sesquiquadrate pluto and though I can't/won't ever direct my anger at people or animals, there hasn't been much left of the things it's been directed toward - so I'm betting on that combo still. [phew, at least no anger problems in the last year or so ]

Hmmmmm....well I have Sun square Pluto and Venus square Pluto and I'm the second sweetest person I know...not at all sadistic, vengeful or even vindictive.

If I even hear of a person hatching some mean plot I feel nauseous. So maybe it's just the Mars/Pluto square. Or maybe those with a Mars/Pluto square who are less evolved...

The only person I know with Mars square Pluto isn;t a person at all. He is my friend's dog. He's one sadistic little b**tard.

Oh, you're not missing much.. not much difference between a dog and a man with a Mars/Pluto opposition or square.

(Kidding!! any mars/pluto person lurking around..pls don't kill me)

I shouldn't talk anyways.. I have a Venus/Pluto opposition but Venus is always kinda cute and playful..and somehow it just doesn't seem half as bad as Mars/Pluto.. but maybe it is, just more subtle..

Hey, I have Mars conjunct Pluto and I'm not a sadist! Just because a girl wants to dress all in black and tie a guy up everybody starts getting all nervous.............HA! Just kidding!

Seriously, just because a person has this aspect doesn't mean they are sadistic.

i have read that pluto retrograde in ones
chart can bring out sadistic tendencies.
also, the classic pattern of saturn in the
tenth house can bring out ruthlessness in a
person and sado-masochism-(i.e. tim mcveigh's chart) maybe it would be a combination of these aspects but would also
involve venus or negative aspects to venus?

you mention venus square saturn-but i have
actually heard this can be a really positive
aspect for synastry-as the saturn person is
afraid to loose the venus person. in a natal
chart i think it is where this aspect is more troublesome. the marquis de sade had venus conjunct saturn. in natal chart i think it represents where someone feels abused on some level and wants to get even.
just a thought.one male friend of mine has this aspect in his natal chart. his early enviornment was considered unsatisfactory to him-even though he grew up to be handsome and very successful-he is also the biggest womanizer i have ever seen in my life and although i love him as a friend-i almost feel sorry for any woman he is involved with-he is constantly looking for backups-never stops-like he can't get enough-venus conjunct saturn i think.

I know someone who is into sado-masochism (he can go both ways depending on his mood), he has Venus conj Pluto opp Jupiter; afflicted Jupiter in the 8th (Jupiter also rules the sense of proportion), black moon lilith in Aries in the 8th (!) and retro mars in cancer.(in the 10th)

Oh, and of course he is a Scorp

P.S. Mars conj Lust conj Venus/Pluto opposition here!

I've got both my Sun and Mars square to Pluto. I've definitely got a dark side, no doubt about it. Fortunately I have a heavy Pisces influence which probably dilutes it quite a bit, and Jupiter conj. my asc. in Leo gives me quite a sunny disposition - on the outside.

I thoroughly enjoy horror films, and I'm fascinated watching true crime stories, Forensic Files, or biographical films about serial killers. LOL...don't run...I'm really not that scary! I'm just fascinated by it. A lot of it scares the hell out of me though, but maybe that's part of my sadism - I enjoy being terrified.

I think the Mars/Pluto aspect comes out in me quite a bit sexually. I'm very aggressive with men, yet I'm completely turned off by a submissive man. My sexual appetite is usually very high as well, and I can get extremely angry when my needs aren't being met.

I think for the most part I end up supressing my dark, seedy, sadistic nature as much as possible. I do notice that it comes out often in my dreams. They really shake me up sometimes and I wonder how on earth my mind could have conjured up such sick, visceral images. They can be VERY disturbing.

I find the most sadistic person I knew had Moon conjunct Jupiter (like hitler) in Taurus opposite Neptune, Mars in Taurus/3rd house conjunct Mercury opp Neptune, Pluto square Sun, and Gemini Sun/4th house.

As for venus it was aspecting uranus which was sitting in the 7th house. So I suppose that means venus ruled people are considered open enemies.

Lots of water can be broody, and then the Aries influence in a man generally sucks for sensitivity. Saturn in the 1st generally isn't interested in volunteer work either.

Mars conjunct Sun men, disaster.

Pluto conjunct Sun, Sun in the 8th and Pluto square Sun at one time or another caused me emotional pain.

I am Pluto trine Sun but I'm a Taurus, very mellow and easygoing in the 6th house. I attract a lot of gregarious Virgos and venus in Virgos, sometimes with a moon or merc in scorpio! They're not exactly pushy and ultra sensitive. Earth suns especially double earths are so nice, we don't hurt people!

Two cheers for double earth!:>

Yes, do you want details? It hurts because it was done thoughtlessly, but I doubt if you are posting here you are the same.

That person was completely insensitive, with other aspects such as Pluto square Venus, and Saturn/1st house/Gemini.

Don't cry for me Argentina! I learned to stick for myself eventually. That particular person had very little patience with me. I'm a Taurus and a bit slow moving.

yikes! natasha i really
didn't mean to pry-i just had never
heard that a person with sun
in 8th house were cruel or had those
types of tendencies. i thought it made one more introspective-that type of thing.
more of a scorpio cast to personality.

i'm sorry that happened to you.

i would have to say the most sadistic person
i have known had 5 planets in aries in his chart -mostly all his luminaries and they
made harsh aspects to saturn and pluto.
because of his agression, he was a master
manipulator.

Love-goblin- the marquis de sade had venus conjunct saturn

You may be onto something there. I was with someone that had Venus-Conjunct Saturn in Cancer in the 2nd/3rd house respectively. The aspect was tight, within 3 degrees and he was a complete psycho-path.

Pain, mental games, back-ups... I was lucky, more like facinated with watching the whole thing play out, but when it was time to go.. I was gone. The games became violence- no fun in that and his needs were too intense, too coarse for someone like me (Venus conjunct Sun in Sag and Saturn in Taurus in the 8th house).I should also add, that like Peri's friend, this guy would find "pleasure" in any way possible- male or female or a combination of female / male.. if ya know what I mean.

I began to feel a deep repulsion soon after we moved in together as I have a hard time dealing with people that have little to no self control. When he talked of what facinated him, it repulsed me... ick.

His venus-saturn aspect also formed part of one of his T-squares with Pluto in Libra and Jupiter in Aries. My Mercury in Capricorn completed his T and turned it into a grand square.

In addition to our aspect challenged T-square thing... we also had numerous Pluto - Moon things going on LOL....

I feel sorry for the women from his past as well as in his present / future. I was only 1 of 2 women that told him to hit the road and never spoke to him again. He has always remained close to exes... still promising them some kind of relationship (some of the stuff I found indicated that).

Interesting though... would never want to do it again, but the ride (not sexually) was an E-ticket and that's for sure.

Hi

I don't think you should generalize about how earth signs don't hurt people. It really depends on the person.

Adolf Hitler had Sun in Taurus
Saddam Hussein has Sun in Taurus.

I knew a gal with Sun,Venus,Jupiter, and North Node in Taurus. She lied to me and played games with me. She was doing drugs, and she lied about it. She dumped me twice, and it hurt like hell. She had Mars in Cancer and Moon in Scorpio.

My father had Sun,Mercury in Capricorn and Jupiter and Saturn in Taurus. He hit my mother because he was insanely jealous. My mother had to move from San Francisco to Sacramento to get away from him. He ended up moving in with us after my mom let him come for a visit. Instead of a visit,he brought all his suitcases. He was a persistent man. He ended up getting my mom to use drugs. After awhile,my mom wised up and kicked him out. He has been out of our lives since I was 1 yr old. I grew up never knowing my father. He had Moon in Pisces,Mars in Scorpio along with stationary Neptune in Virgo.

any ways..my point is that just because a person has earth doesn't mean that a stable nor harmless...that's with any element, sign, placement, and aspect...you just can't generalize.

People of any sign, placement, aspect can be horrible,cruel.....they can be nice too.

It depends on the person and how they choose to use their energies.

I have Sun,Mercury,Venus in Scorpio along with Moon quincunx Pluto as well as Moon,Saturn,Neptune t-square. I actually have Moon oppose Saturn/Neptune midpoint like Adolf Hitler, but I am nothing like the guy. I am not cruel nor sadistic.

I know a gal who was with a Libra Sun dude for 3 yrs,and he came off really nice and charming. He turned out to be a jerk who beat his exgirlfriends including one when she was pregnant with his child. He is an alcoholic who drinks every single day. He has Moon in Taurus.
he was far from stable, nice. He didn't have any challenging Neptune aspects in his chart. He had Neptune in 5th trine Midheaven, and he was very creative. He had Pluto conjunct IC and Venus in Scorpio that indicated his intense nature.

Hi G,

I don't think anyone is really generalizing FOR or AGAINST sun signs. We just try to look at other aspects so as to not over-generalize a sign position.

I know Archers that are violent and Bulls that are not stable. I know Lazy Capricorns and Leos that don't like the lime light. I know Scorps that are as open as a book and Cancers that are the life of the party.

You're father sounds like a horrible man... but he did display some of the "typical" qualities of Taurus...as you said "He was persistent. He showed up for a visit with all of his suitcases" LOL.... sad but true.

The guy I spoke of was a Taurus as well - violent, mean, ruthless, persistent..etc.. BUT, I also dated another Taurus that was generous, funny, non-clingly, not violent and just easy to be around.

Again, I am sorry for your pain adn I admire your mother's strength in getting rid of the guy.

yes p1daua-

i have many friends who have venus square saturn in synastry and are very happy-but i swear the men i know that have that aspect in their natal charts all end up playing weird head games with their women. i have heard that the aspect makes one feel insecure in love so maybe that is why they start to play pscho head games. i am glad u escaped your experience relatively unscathed! when i find out that a man has that aspect i watch him closely and cautiously! it seems that most men who have that aspect that i eventually feel really turned off by them-but partially fascinated at first.

and glaucus i see your point. it all really depends on how evolved the person is in themselves from the beginning.

I can't say that my father was a horrible man. He had issues though.

He was a black man who went through stuff in his life. He was born in 1941 in New Orleans,Louisiana. He grew up with his grandmother. He went to California to living with his uncle. His uncle got him selling drugs. My father got caught and went to jail for some time. That happened more than once.
He got diagnosed as having paranoid schizophrenia. Keep in mind that a lot of african americans have been misdiagnosed as having mental disorders like that. I have been misdiagnosed as having schizoaffective bipolar disorder because of my speech irregularities, and they didn't know about special education to correct Dyslexia. My father had similar speech problems and he also stuttered. He also needed things repeated to him. Like me,he was also awkward with his hands.

My mom told me that he was very shy, softspokened, mildmannered, unusually good natured, very sensitive, emotional.

my mother was physical and verbally abusive to him. She definitely had her issues...not never knowing her mother, being in 13 fosterhomes, being forced to give up her firstborn son to adoption before she met my father, and she was in bad marriage to a controlling man 25 yrs older than her...of course she had a child that had special needs - me with my Dyslexia and Dyspraxia.

I meant to say that my mom was physical and verbally abusive to me.

I made a dyslexic mistake. Sometimes I say or type the wrong thing at times.

If you have heard President Bush talk, you will understand how I talk at times. Some think Bush is Dyslexic, but some think he's stupid. Well..I am not stupid. My speech problems are from Dyslexic-related word retrieval problems.
