I know talking about the ascendant is pretty basic astrology, but this site breaks each ascendant down into the decan, so if you weren't familiar with it, then here it is:

Knowing your ascendant degree will definitely help. I just don't want to discuss the ascendant here, but the decanate as well...

I have Sag ascendant at 5 degrees-

the personality descriptions were right on, but the appearance ones were very general.. but then again, I don't really think you can judge one's ascendant when determining looks. I think that has more to do with their genes. :P

Your genes determine most of your stars, for example an old wise saying is your fourth house bears a resemblance to your fathers first house.

If anyone could give me their interpretation for this:

My first house cusp is in Virgo (rising) and I have a pallas conjunct ascendant by 6 degrees and i have an eros in my first house at 23 degrees, how does the eros in virgo in the 1st house effect my first impression, personal image?
