I noticed this with my last boyfriend. I felt sooo comfortable with him, able to talk about anything. Yet the more time I spent with him, the more I felt suffocated and tied down to the past. Hard to explain.

Our charts had:

my S. Node conjunct his Sun
my S. Node conjunct his Mercury
my S. Node conjunct his Venus
his S. Node conjunct my Neptune
his S. Node square my Venus
his S. Node square my Jupiter
our Nodes square each other

Has anyone else had a relationship with heavily-aspected S. Nodes? What was it like for you?

YES. We are very comfortable with each other. We can talk about anything that we never told any one else.

I read in the book callled Mapping Your Romantic Relationship. It said that my SN conjunct his Venus means he is my wife in my past life. That's why I can fall in love with him easily.

Hmm..I would say we had some ties to the past. maybe not as strong as some of you, but maybe those will grow more evident with age, as this is a fresh new relationship.

I wonder if the Sign the South Node is in (since there are so many Conjunctions), might help influence how held back one may feel. Example: If these Conjunctions exist in Aquarius, vs. in Scorpio. And if there is any overall theme in each of the Natal's which would desire it to be so in addition to the South Node's strong pull.

if you go to www.astro.com and use the "extended chart section" listed under free horoscopes you can look up your synastry aspects with someone. For the type of chart select synastry. When the chart appears, select "Click to get additional tables".

The grid which appears gives you North Node aspects only, but the South Node is directly opposite the NN, so it's easy to figure out the SN aspects as well.
