An interesting observation I have made over the past few days regarding the full moon in Aqua:

I am a RN and work in an ICU. I have always noted what I call "latent" full moon effects, that is, the general full moon things that go on in hospitals, people coming in with wierd aliments, strange-minded patients and family members, etc., but they tend to occur the few days following the actual full moon.

This full moon has brought on a huge amount of suicide attempts as well as very old people "trying" to die, with the medical industry keeping them alive on life support.

I am wondering if this has anything to do with Neptune in Aqua and people feeling the urge to escape, go "home", become more spiritual, all the Neptunian things, but acting on the feeling in fatalistic ways.

Just an observation---any input?

What a profound and moving observation you have made girl...

Yes I agree....Neptune in Aquarius indeed speaks of this doenst it...the need to escape..

I read once that the highest percentage of inmates in American mental institutions were male Aquarians....

Thanks for posting this. It has been very recently that my father and I have been brave enough to admit to each othe that we have had suicidal feelings...

it's no fun feeling that way..but you know..it sure makes you stronger..
when we give in..to the dense matter of this world..we are in essence giving up on Truth..of Our Soul..
we need to feel the darkness sometimes..so we know what LOve and Light really feel like..

we're all out of balance..MOther Earth..wants Harmony..

and in answer to your question..yes..this full Moon..and the days before and following..have been very emotional..
people facing themSelves..good or bad..

things are going to change..
and it begins with each individual..
for we are all connected..

undertake to do everything..with LOve..
ANd Light..and then Magic!

I SOOOO much appreciate your take on the effects of the Full Moon as it pertains to hospitals. I've often wondered about "latent" Full Moon effects because sometimes the Full Moon can have such a "subjective" pull on us, it doesn't give our fallible brain enough time to scheme. During a Full Moon, we may know only to BRACE ourselves, like when the rollercoaster reaches the top and begins its descent. Once the ride is over, we cackle over our experience while exhaling and attempting to recover our original self-destructive self (no life-threatening coaster ride required, thank you ...)

What'do'ya think? Would love to hear more on this.

I have never contemplated the "why" the latent effects of the full moon occur, (Piscean relativity at work!) However, your possible explanation intrigues my thought processes! Once I have recovered from the exaustion of working too many days in a row, I will convey my thoughts on your statement! I believe I may have to start to pay attention to the sign the full moon is at the time as it may be related to people's behaviors.

OK thanks. If you don't get back to this, don't worry. But it's a great topic I'd love to explore, your Piscean relativism and all.

(Oh! Which reminds me of a thread I wanted to start)

Still have no reason why the full moon acts the way it does in a latent fashion. I will note that, it was in the hospital setting that I first recognized the latent thing. In my previous career as a banker all the wierd things happend on the day of the full moon and nothing afteward.

I will begin to journal the sign the full moon is transiting and make note of people's behavior as related to the qualities of that particular sign. This could prove to be interesting!
