yes, so how would one read a synastry for two plutonic folks. My gf and mom have yet to really meet (brief meeting) and I am interested to see how they will get along. How do I read this in a plutonic way, since synastry is usually for lovers or two potential lovers.

I see:

moms Sun Sextile gfs Sun
moms Sun Opposite gfs Moon
moms Moon Conjunct gfs Mars
moms Moon Opposite gfs Saturn
Sun Sextile Mars
Moon Trine Mercury
Moon Trine Jupiter
Moon Trine Neptune

gosh damn that looks better than mine and hers already. well what else do you see? please help ! i will be back after dinner and work to look at this more.

I always thought synastry was just comparison between people to see how they affect each other. I never thought it was solely for relationship partners,lovers. I was fascinated with my synastry with my mother and my other relatives. They provided a lot of insights for me.
I also learned that attraction aspects that you find in relationship partners and lovers can also be in the synastry between friends,relatives and don't mean attraction. The same aspects can between 2 heterosexual people,but they aren't attracted to each other.

Synastry is so complexed.

Well, I see your GF's blue Sun is not far off from your mom's red Moon. That's a great sign for instant rapport. It's probably too wide an orb for most to consider a conjunction, but I've found tremendous rapport even from Sun/Moon conjunctions that wide.

venus conjunct jupiter , isolated, is absolutely excellent. venus usually cares very much for jupiter, and jupiter has a very magnanimous approach to venus, not seeing very much wrong with them.

thats the thing that stood out to me. but you know that the total is more important than a single thing but yea great aspect to have in synastry. any positive jup aspects, or even the neg sometimes, are very good.

just to add,

other good friendship aspects:

personal planets , asc or jup transposed in the 11th house

positive aspects with: sun, moon, merc, venus to jupiter. sun and moon to venus, merc to venus, moon to merc. even sun in the same sign as moon, venus, merc can be helpful. sun conjunct jupiter is IMO the best frienship aspect.

oh, forgot -- also personal planets of one placed in the 1st of the other, esp moon venus, sun as well.
