From what I have seen, Saturn in the 7th natally lends one toward being duty bound in all relationships, esp. marriage. IP: Logged |

I got this off the Bob Marks website..For those of you familiar with him..I have a friend that has Saturn in the 7th house and he was about to definetly marry this woman and it was largely based on money and security..It did not happen though but it was in the making.. Saturn in the Seventh House: tends to delay marriage. In fact, if you have this one, don’t get married or even live with someone (other than a roommate) until you are at least twenty nine years old. You have to wait for Saturn to complete a full cycle around the Sun for things to work out here. Early marriages will slowly decay and fail. I’ve seen this in over 90% of the cases. The partner may be older by at least seven years, and if not a Capricorn, then at least a Capricorn type, solid, dependable, conservative in their private life. Marriage may be for money or security. Watch out. That one frequently backfires on you. Conversely, you yourself may become more practical and hard working after marriage. What this placement definitely does NOT favor is a spur of the moment marriage for romantic reasons to someone you just met.

I'm a Saturn in the 7th person... and the way my life is happening, marriage will be later for me. I'm 31 and never married. But I did live with someone for five years, from age 26 to 30 and you guessed it, he WAS quite a bit older than me - 7 or 8 years, and very much a Capricorn type - it crumbled and failed at my Saturn Return. And no, I would never marry someone for money. It's just not on my agenda. IP: Logged |

SecretseekerBy "duty bound" once one has entered a relationship, if it goes bad, often one with Saturn in the 7th will make the native feel obligated out of duty to stay. Vows taken very seriously, I guess! Liz Greene in her amazing work, "Saturn a New look at an Old Devil" makes mention of this as well. Would expand more on her book, but am in the middle of my work week (work 12 hr shifts)---will try to get more on later! PS I have found this to be true more than once! IP: Logged |

I have Saturn in the 7th -still not married. I wouldn't marry only for money, but I also would avoid a marriage with someone who has no money or is irresponsiblw with it. At my age if I man doesn't have his act together that means trouble ahead so I steer clear.IP: Logged |

I am with Kat on this one. I'm still not married either. Plus, I've always read that I will be with someone who is much older either in age or maturity. Currently am with a Leo who is 14 yrs my senior.IP: Logged |
