"If he thought at all, but I don't believe he ever thought, it was that he and his shadow, when brought near each other, would join like drops of water; and when they did not he was appalled......his sobs woke Wendy, and she sat up in bed. She was not alarmed to see a stranger crying....she was only pleasantly interested." Thats very interesting lines that you posted. I have always thought on similar lines - union of my other half (instead of shadow) and me like we dissolve in each other... where one can't make a difference. Becoming one. Thats ultimate union of 2 people. Its like I wanting to be a part of each and every part of my significant other. Once I said to my Gem that I want her to be inside me. And she replied that its not possible but the other way round can happen. Yes I think many times of being inside her (no pun intended) or her being in me, inseparable union of two. And I always sigh that it may not be possible in life. Might sound impossible but thats our dream. To whatever extent (if not completely) it can fullfilled is dependent on how both think and feel about each other. And I may not sob over thinking of that, however I always want to sob, if I do over something else, while with her (or the other way round). Emotions are something which we want to be involved with and won't be shy of in front of intimate ones. V IP: Logged | |
