If it wasn't for astronomers, we wouldn't be even using Uranus,Neptune,and Pluto! For hundreds of years, astrologers used planets up to only Saturn. After astronomers discoverered Uranus,Neptune,and Pluto ....well...the astrologers starting user Uranus,Neptune,and Pluto. Vedic Astrologers don't even use the outerplanets. Heck...they even believe that Rahu(North Node) and Ketu(South Node) along with Saturn are the outerplanet influences.

Therefore, Astronomers definitely influenced the change in Western Astrology.

If Astrologers are hell bent on astronomers not changing their system, why in the world did they change their system to accommodate for the outerplanets that the astronomers discovered? Why don't they just stick to the original planetary setup that ancients have used?

It's change. It's progression. That's why. Astrologers refused to get stuck in the middle ages mindset.

That's what I feel astrologers would be doing if they reject the other objects that Astronomers found.

Another thing....Ceres was once categorized as a planet for decades. Is Ceres used as a planet in Astrology? Of course not! You don't see Ceres in house placements,aspects,and sign placements in well known Astrology books. Ceres was categorized as a planet before Pluto was even discovered. So why in the world,Astrologers don't keep Ceres as a planet in defiance of Astronomy like they want to be defiant of Astronomy by keeping Pluto as a planet?

Now Ceres and Pluto are equals which I feel that they should have been in the first place. I always felt that Ceres was underrated in Astrology. Now Astronomers have made Ceres and Pluto equals,and so I feel that Astrologers should do the same.

You have many directives, but bullet them out with more-specific-action-to-be-taken suggestions/examples.

You can click on UBB CODE IS ON, to the left of your REPLY window. You have the option of simple bullets, numerical numerals, or alphabetized "bullets".

See, I'm gonna try:

  • This is the first bulleted item
  • This is the second bulleted item
  • This is the third bulleted item

[list=A]

  • This is the first alphabetized bullet
  • This is the second alphabetized bullet
  • This is the third alphabetized bullet

    [list=1]

  • This is the first numerical bullet
  • This is the second numerical bullet
  • This is the third numerical bullet

    Did it work?
