For example, Moon Conjunct Venus softens both the Moon and Venus, but a Moon Conjunct Uranus doesn't soften both the Moon and Uranus. We always think of Uranus as quick, unexpected, and logical. Conjunct with the Moon, I'm thinking it might work the Moon up into a frenzy. How might the Moon benefit Uranus? ------------------ ... it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness IP: Logged |

Hi AJ!I have Moon conjunct Uranus. I'm not sure it makes you as eratic as it does restless and give you a desire for personal freedom and maybe make you a little bit unconventional. At least that's my take on it! LOL You are right; I don't think it "softens" the Moon. I was reading an article a couple of days ago about how some women with this aspect are more nontraditional mothers. They know they will never be the Martha Stewarts/June Cleavers of the world but that can be a good thing! IP: Logged |

Yes unconventionality. Which isn't really a bad thing, it just modifies the moon from its traditional roleAccording to http://www.astrology-numerology.com/aspects-moon.html: "Moon conjunct Uranus The conjunction of the Moon and Uranus denotes strong intuitions. It also makes you very independent. You rebel against set ways of doing acting and orthodox principles. High emotional tension can produce sudden impulses in your behavior that cause difficulties. Dull routine duties are a problem for you, and these can have a damaging effect on your nervous system. You moods change rapidly, you seem irritated, and you aren't very reliable when this aspect is active. Often, you are viewed as a character and you express yourself with verve. You are popular because of your tolerance and understanding of others and your ability to see both side of almost any issue. Your optimism and honesty are refreshing and will carry you far." My partner has this aspect and I would say that his moods can come on pretty quickly. For me though, its good. I am an Aqu and we luckily just miss out on a square between his sco moon and my sun. For me, I enjoy the aspect as it makes him offbeat and more Aqu than the normal Sco moon. IP: Logged |

Ugghhhh, try having this transiting your natal moon (in opposition) for a while....it can wreak havoc. Not only your moods are affected (Wait, I'm already moody ) but suddenly you feel as if the lives of important females in your life are going hay-wire.... and your relationships to them. IP: Logged |

Wow Dulce Luna. That's interesting about how it would affect relationships with other women (Moon representing maternal energy) ... I'm thinking, what you're experiencing as a Transit is what those with the Natal Aspects experience on a daily basis! My Uranus is in the 4th house, so................. ------------------ ... it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness IP: Logged |
