Hey all,Anyone want to share their Sun opposition Moon struggles, growth, thoughts.. anything? I have this aspect and personally find the impact very hard to deal with. Makes for a lot of inconsistency.. Sun Sagittarius

Does Sun square Moon count? That's what I got and it's pretty tough to handle most of the time. I feel like there is a constant fight between my thoughts and my feelings. When I let my thoughts dominate I end up hurting OTHER people, when I let my feelings and my heart get in the way I end hurting MYSELF. Does that make any sense?IP: Logged |

I have Sun Square Moon as well.I've seen some of that struggle of having them Opposed. I feel for you. I wouldn't want it myself. IP: Logged |

I have the opposite - but not by degree…still I think it counts.It’s like being cold and hot at the same time, very confusing. But what I’ve learnt is to manipulate this “gift” to my own advantage, while maintaining a balance. For example, almost all the flaws in my Pisces Sun are the strength of my Moon. Where my Sun fails, my Moon succeeds  and vice versa (sp?) Hope that helps  IP: Logged |

Thanks for your responses!I'm not sure how similar the square and opposition are.. the opposition between the Sun and Moon is more significant in a natal chart because the most significant parts of a natal chart are in conflict. In complementary signs. It really does make me feel like two different people. Sag sees the big picture, while Gemini obsesses over the details..
Sag is the optimist, Gemini the pessimist..
Sag is brutally honest, Gemini will tell you what you want to hear, and manipulate you..
Sag will go with the flow, Gemini will want to know who is doing what and where/how etc..
Yet both are mutable..
so as much as it does make me a balanced individual in some ways, I don't always FEEL the balance. I feel the conflict more often. Maybe as I get older I can master the art of finding the balance between the two. IP: Logged |

It does get easier as you get older...honestly!
I have Aqua Sun Cancer Moon (first degree of aqua and last degree of cancer)The two are constantly tearing me apart! My logical mind has to deal with my Cancerian emotions.
Incidentally, I have a very close friend who has Sun square Moon and it does affect him in a very similar way, its just not so intense. IP: Logged |

Taurus Sun Scorpio Moon here..
Most of the time, I don't even feel like a Taurus even though I have my Mercury and Jupiter in Taurus too.
It's a bit sad because I tend to have such dark emotions that I'd love for Taurus to brighten me up...But Scorpio is Conjunct my Pluto, Opposite Jupiter, Square Mars, so it's intense...
I wish i had it the other way around with Sun Scorpio Moon in Taurus, I would feel much happier.

Oh dear mates,Allow me to join this band wangon 
A sag sun X Virgo Moon here  My sun wants to be frank a clean slate in anyrelationship .If we are honest with something i feel lot of manipulations, embarrasment , sadness wont arise in the first place. For eg : if someone close asks do u like me ? or something delciate like that ,and if i dint want to entretain them , my sagi-ness wants to shout the truth .BUTTTTTTTTTTTT the dam* moon infleunce remains stoic ,restricst teh real feelinsg.
RESULT :End up acting all the while. My husband feels i am MERCURIAL and inconsistent I dont deny it eitehr.. ITS TOUGH and I LONG FOR ESCAPE from this constant mental fight Arent there any good news abt this placement guys

I'm thinking we can become extremely well-rounded individuals if we work hard at the great conflict between our two main placements.Just a thought though.. I'll let you know in my 90s, haha. IP: Logged |
