While I'm not technically a Pisces [I'm sitting on the cusp on the Aquarius side] I have a strong Neptune/Pisces influence in my chart and I say get ready for a little bundle of emotions lol. I am the most overemotional person I know, oversensitive and very shy. But I'm also kind and quiet, even when I was a baby and a little kid, I was quiet. So that's something to look forward to I guess.

Awww, I love pisces.

My b/f is a Pisces, and he can be very sensitive, but also moody at times (that could be due to his moon in cancer). It really depends on the rest of the chart, but Pisces can be the sweetest people around.

My sister is a pisces sun and while she may be sensitive she has very thick skin. She has a Scorpio rising and a gemini moon and mars.

As to what she looks like, I would say how they always describe pisces in those sunsign books. She one of the few people I know that actually fits the description of pisces. She has big watery eyes and nicely full-shaped lips. The only thing I would attribute to her Scorpio Asc his her hairiness . (Me and her look very much alike by the way, the only difference is the shape of the face-mine is more oval due to Capricorn Asc.)

I'm also on a pisces cusp, but I have a lot more neptune/pisces influences so that it doesn't even feel as if i'm on the cusp.

and yeah, emotions, lots of emotions. but pisces people, the ones i've met, are so incredibly interesting, sensitive and nice people.

pisces people, from what i've seen on myself and others, have full lips.. almost "elf like" features, fine hair, and full, pretty eyes.

and as children they're generally pretty shy, quiet, have some artistic talent, etc.

My BD is February 21st-i am not small, beautifully dark haired with limpid eyes or what this days society considers "feminine". I look more like a Valkrie! Strong bones blond hair big smile- INSIDE I am a 5'2" quivering feminine brunette! Go figure- Emotionally, hmm, keep things calm, accept the childs friends you cannot see (yes, all of them!) Also realize that Pisces lie for no reason at all about things it makes no sense to lie about- realize but don't harp. Also when your little Pisces says they were on Venus with some passed on Ancestor, they were! also if they say do not drive today or do not get on the train or something like that, listen! They are psychic sponges and pick up everything from everyone in their environment! No kidding! Make sure there is plenty of slow down release time from all that or your Pisces can ail-teach them s-elf protection early! Good luck!

Hope it doesn't sound discouraging but I have a Pisces son. He's Pisces through and through... including all the half truths when he doesn't want to upset me...

For example:
Him: Mom, can I go to my friend's house for a party?
Me: Did you do your homework?
Him: Yes

Me: Did you do ALL your homework?
Him: Yes

Me: Did you FINISH all your homework?
Him: No. I started all of them but haven't finished any...

It's constantly being a cop trying to catch him with his half truths when he wants to do something else.

Oh.. and something else... very day dreamy! Sometimes we would all be at the dinner table (having dinner, or what not)... and would be talking about a topic for the past 5 mins. And he would seemingly be there listening. Then, all of a sudden, he would pipe up and ask something that is completely what we have been talking about all along, as if he's just all of a sudden woken up from a deep sleep! Quite funny, actually. Then we all realize that he's just been day dreaming while sitting there at the dinner table.

Oh well... we love him. He's very sweet but I wish he can get his feet grounded so he can make something out of his life. We all know he's smarter than a lot of people, just can't seem to apply himself.

Good luck...

Miss Muffet

I couldn't help but laugh when I read your post Miss Muffet. That's how I am with my homework too, I start it all but I don't usually finish it all and when I do it's a long time after I actually started it.

Oh I forgot about the description thing. I look very Piscean as well. I'm 4'11, petite [I wear a petite small in tops if that gives you a good idea], I have big, puppy-dog eyes with thick, long lashes and.. well I don't know about thick lips, but they aren't thin either. I have a very child-like and innocent look about me, I look a lot younger than I am. People always mistake me for a 12 year old, when I'm turning 19 in February. I can't think of any other particular features... Oh, thick, curly hair. I've read that's a common Pisces Rising trait. But yeah, that's really all I can think of.

Thats my birthday! Lovely! Congrations.

I am a busty blonde (dyed dark at the moment) not overly tall at 5'6" with brown eyes. I look young for my age (think thats the gemini rising though!) and have a cheeky smile.

BUT-

I am also a 4'3" tiny, shy, quivering brunette on the inside, but only my closest friends see that!

Enjoy your lovely baby and remember to always be sensitive and gentle.

ultrasensitivity(ultra reaction to external stimuli) is a basic trait for Pisces that they are highly receptive to the energy in their environment including being highly attuned to emotional undercurrents. For this reason, they need time to themselves,to recharge. High degree of imagination is another basic trait trait. High degree of intuition, instincts, and deeply in touched with dreams are other basic traits. Highly attuned to the intangibles of existence is the overall main thing about Pisces.

Pisces can be very moody. After all,it's a mutable watersign which is emotions, feelings. Mutable is changeable and adaptable. Pisces is changeable and adaptable emotions, feelings

I have Moon in Pisces, and I am very moody...emotions can change very quickly. My Moon is in apex t-square with it squaring the opposition of Saturn in Gemini and Jupiter-Neptune in Sagittarius.
That indicates more moodiness.

Hi there I am Pisces and I have a Pisces son..He is 7..

So many things being said here is true then some of this is or does not fit this Pisces.

I was very quiet as a baby and so was my son. My lil one makes up alot of stories and I think that he really believes them I always have to tell him to stop fibing. He just smiles. I do not know if I was like that when I was little my mother has never said that I did that.

I do remember being spacey though always dreaming and very, very clumsy. I was always hurting my self as my lil one does too.

We are very spiritual ppl the upward Pisces ppl. The downward Pisces ppl find peace in drinking or smoking doing drugs. We are very intuitive, my lil one kills me when he reads me. He knows when I am thinking about something or feeling bad he always goes Ma are you ok. I just say boy yeah gone.. LOL!!!

We read ppl like we readd a book. I have light brown eyes and they are big and my son has very big eyes. A pisces trait.

Just know that it will be a joy to have a Pisces child. We are very sensesitive. And we can cry easily. I am not really moody though. When things bother me I just retreat and get quiet.

I would rather be Pisces sun then Pisces moon any day. There is where the moodiness and weirdness comes in. They are special too though.

So goodluck its gonna be a lovely ride.

Oh, PS, as far as the moodiness goes, I'm not sure how common mood disorders are in Pisceans, but I'm bipolar. So yeah that might be something that could be .... interesting.

Moodiness is not necessarily expressed..just have to be felt. People's moods can change without anybody noticing. A lot of people don't express what they feel. Many people with strong water do have a hard time expressing their feelings because they can be so deep and nebulous.

I often retreat and be quiet too even when I am feeling irritable, crappy. I am very introspective by nature.

I an INFP(Introverted Intuitive Feeling Perceiver) according to Myers Briggs. I have also scored INFJ(Introverted Intuitive Feeling Judge)

BTW...I was misdiagnosed as having bipolar by psychiatrists.

watersigns need to watch it when it comes to being misdiagnosed as bipolar

watersigns are associated with feelings, emotions, sensitivity, psychic stuff...so the moodiness(which just means that emotions change a lot but doesn't necessarily expressed but can be hidden..watersigns are associated with being subtle)

I was diagnosed as bipolar when I was severely clinically depressed last April. Since then I just kind of accept it, since my mood swings is terrible, to say the least. Now I began to think I might not be bipolar after all... I don't know. I *was* depressed, but depression is not permanent, y'know? Some days I can be so down, others my feet don't even touch the ground. I scored as INTP. My rising is Pisces and the Moon is in my first house, so I guess I'm extra moody. But with my moon being in the sign of Aries, I guess I'm a bit better in expressing my moods in a constructive way (like boxing, hee hee) because Aries are like, get it over with so I can get on with other things.

Miss_muffet you made me laugh out loud with the dreamy stuff.... both my brother and I are pisces (poor mom!) and we were in Stratford-upon-Avon (shakespeare's birth place)for the day. We saw his house, the museum, theater etc. At dinner that night he looks around at the picutres of Shakespeare on the wall and says... (I think he was 14 or 15 at the time) "Dude, was like Shakespeare born here or something???" He is much more dreamy than I but we both are moody, WAY sensitive to what anyone is feeling, and oversensitive to what others say. Prone to a bit of depression as reality never lives up to the fantasies. I spent a lot of my childhood in the back yard trees, loved nature and animals more than peeps. I'm 5'2" and even though I feel like a strong, big woman, everyone thinks I'm a pixie. I'm told I look like Elaine from Seinfeld all the time. Lots of thick dark wavy hair and hazel eyes. I always tried to fix my friends problems or at least they all came to me with them...still do. By the way my b'day is 2/24 my bro's 3/13. And we both told lots of half truths in our youth to get our way.... esp when it came to homework!

Angel24 LOL!!! My bday is 2/25 and my son is 3/12. Like you and your brother. My friends too call me and I help them with their problems. That is bc Pisces uses their deep intuition and we can see right into a situation and predict its out come..

One of my best friends bday is 2/24 and she is almost like pyschic. I still get tickled when we talk bc we sum up each of our issues and we end up right.

Yes we can con ppl into giving us our way. We have a way with that. My son though cannot do much bc I have done what he is thinking of doing. And I see right through him...B4 he even begins or opens his mouth I alreadu see the deal.. LOL!!!

I am happy to be a Pisces I really am. We are strage folks but I like it...

miss muffet,
In my opinion you push your son too hard. Asking one question 3 times is ultra annoying. You know, the contact between you and your son can break up.

MissM. I think that you are right to ask him over and over if need be has he done what he is suppose to I know from being not only a Pisces but having a Pisces son..

I think we as parents know what we have to do to get answers from our kids..

90 % of parents don't know what to do with their kids.
And i think the problem is miss muffet don't understand her son- she thinks, he must achieve something to be loved. And if he can't?
Brutally honest,

I must fall in the 10% because I know what to do..And if I don't after praying I will. I don't know how you Percieved her response to this post, but I don't get that at all.

What I got is that her son tells lies and if she does not drill him on certain things she does not know if he is lying or telling the truth about his homework and so forth.

I just feel like she knows her son better then any one on this board and better knows what she has to do to get answers from him. And we were speaking on Pisces children and the way they tell half truths and does things to get out of doing what they are suppose to. I can totally relate to her bc I have a Pisces son who I have to ask a million times also sometimes has he done what he is suppose to.

And no one can tell me I do not understand my son and we will lose contact for that. I want him to know you are not pulling it with me I am hip to your stuff. (the lying) and it is unacceptable.

Tell the truth and I still love you..

That is what I got from what miss muffet was saying..

Quote:
she thinks, he must achieve something to be loved. And if he can't?

LOL!!! I do not at all see that she thinks that. what I see is that she know that he can do much better then he is doing if he oly applies him self. She knows her sons potential. That is what I got from her post..

Where did you find research that 90% of parents don't know what to do with their kids? That really doesn't make any sense to me.

"she thinks, he must achieve something to be loved." -where did she say that? Maybe it's just me, but when I have a child, I want them to do well in school, because I want to see them succeed. It doesn't mean if they fail I'm not going to love them any less for it.
