I've noticed I'm rather motherly to everyone I know. Like, my friend Nicole had to get stitches in her chin from a hockey injury and the doctor thought she might have a concussion. So I slept until she and her roommate went to bed, then I was going to go into their room so I could wake Nicole up every few hours to make sure she was still conscious (they never woke me up to move me into their room). But, she insisted on playing flag football the other day, so I just HAD to go watch to make sure she didn't hurt herself. That's just one example.
Anyway, are there any aspects/signs that would make someone tend towards that? And I'm really curious if the motherly type ever get asked out? Cause it feels like the same thing when guys say that the nice guys never get the girl.

Hi Rebekkah,
I would check out Ceres. I have it in my first house (conjunct Ascendant, Venus and Neptune). I definitely come across as nuturing.

I am a nurturing soul. I looked, and Ceres is in my 4th house.

As far as being asked out, I tend to give vibes of - Leave Me Alone! I have found if I want to get attn I have to change my mental picture to - I am worth having! And take notice of who is looking, cuz there are those who prefer REAL women.

Just remember to still keep your life, friends, family... He will fall in love with YOU. If you try to be a mother to him, you could loose yourself - the person he fell in love with.

Hope that helps.

Cancer is the sign of the Mother.
Cancers are typically mothering.

Sun, Moon, or Ascendant in Cancer.
Even Venus there, to some extent.

Moon in the 1st house is also a big nurturer.

Anyway,
lots of guys are looking to be mothered
(most of them, to some extent).

But,
How many girls do you know are looking for a guy to mother them?
I bet "sexy" is the first thing that comes to mind.

That's strange, because I have no Cancer in my chart. My Ceres is in my 12th House in Aquarius, conjunction my Sun, Moon and Mercury and square Pluto.... Could the conjunctions have something to do with it?

And I keep thinking that guys wouldn't go for the motherly type cause I'm always under the impression that they all prefer the funny, popular, party type. I don't fall under any of those categories. And how can you tell who's looking ? I never get so much as a glance from guys ...

I am motherly ( cancer asc.) but not with a man I am living with. With a man I am in love with and living with I do not want to be a mother. Would rather be a lover and a friend but not a mother.

I guess I can be motherly depending on the closeness factor. If its just someone I consider an aquaintance then forget about it.
