I find uranus quite interesting! ( i can't say that to certain friends of mine with out feeling, oh, 12 again!!!) I am interested in the house/planet placement for you, and if you have experienced anything yet in life that has expressed itself through this placement.
Thanks!! IP: Logged |

From astrology-numerology.com:Twelfth House Uranus in the twelfth house exerts its erratic behavior in the area relating to your subconscious mind. This placement suggests a subconscious feeling of "cabin fever" that may inhibit your strong urge to feel totally free and independent. You may be a loner that works best by yourself. Your investigative skills, and perhaps even psychic abilities, can be valuable assets. You need to accept life as you find it, and avoid setting up subconscious oppositions. ------------- I find this description interesting for me because I have this real independent/wanderer streak in me. However, for the last month, i have basically come straight home from work and watched tv/internet all night, and then went to bed. Ha! I guess it is financially motivated somewhat, but still a strange push/pull type of thing. (btw--i am NOT lazy...just going through something strange lately!) IP: Logged |

Uranus in IX conj MC here;Astrology has changed my perception of the world and helped me to built my own philosophy; I change jobs often mainy because of that 'implicit insubordination to authority' of mine (that's what I was said once) I have thought of becoming a professional astrologer ... Uranus in 5th house as singleton Also at critical degree (13º30'39 in Libra)We often find Uranus as a singleton in the charts of highly charismatic personalities. As we go through the examples of famous people, we see a kind of “brightness” or “radiance” about Uranians. There is a quality about them that makes others “sit up and take notice.” Along with charisma is a trickster quality. These people tend to do and say the unexpected; they are surprising and sometimes astonishing. Sometimes they even trick themselves. The Uranian energy pulls the rug out from under all the other planets in the chart. This is especially true when the singleton Uranus is aspected by a personal planet. (Sun square Uranus) Fifth house play and self-expression is happy hunting grounds for Uranus. Creativity and change are the bywords of Uranus in the fifth. You take great pleasure in doing things differently. You are naturally creative and find it easy to implement change. As a teenager you may decide to date an older person. Your love relationships will always start with a twist. Charming and zany in love, you will create your own world with ease. Your love of freedom will make you choose activities that may sound weird to others. You will go about life with zest and find challenges in all that you do. Others will find your offbeat lifestyle stimulating. I suppose this all makes me crazy.... IP: Logged |

Scorpionic Web m'dear it might not be so bad. I too have Uranus in the fourth house. I have been happily married for seven years, have two beautiful children. I also have pluto AND mars in the fourth house so it really is a volatile part of my chart! I believe the fourth house uranus refers more to my childhood than my married domestic bliss. My childhood was awful....we moved loads, lived in some awful places, my dad was violent, my mother was institutionalised, it was crazy. So my 'domestic/home life' was erratic and all over the place. I now seek safety in my home. Good luck with your fourth house uranus! And by the way yes I change things around in my house frequently!! Oh just to add that my uranus is in libra in this house but not sure what that means... ------------------ SCORPIO SUN 5TH HOUSE ASCENDANT CANCER CANCER MOON 12TH HOUSE IP: Logged |

Uranus conjunct ascendant here, both at 12 Libra. I'm all the typical things a Uranian individual would be: at times rebellious, independent, resourceful, original, indifferent, and so on. I'm also tall, much taller than my sibling who has Pluto on her ascendant (11 Libra). That placement gave her much darker skin than mine, and a shorter, thicker, more athletic stature. Me, I'm super tall, pale, and I have lots of nervous energy -- Uranus on AC is opposed Mercury/Chiron on the DC in my chart. I've had neurological problems, too.I once was talking with an astrologer friend of mine and she said Uranus is the place we create divine distance, and if on the ascendant it is almost as if there is a wound to the basic identity -- "me" whoever "me" is, is not here. I found her words struck a chord in me, I identified with them. Oh, and because planets conjunct the ascendant often describe the birth in some way, it comes as no surprise that my birth was sudden. My mom went into labor very suddenly, poof, there I was.

Greetings & Salutations I've Uranus in Scorpio in my 5th House. It is nicely sandwiched between(conjunct) my N Node on one side & Venus on the other. I am truly a weird-O magnet and I love it! It amuses me to be the normal lookin one in a group of more interestingly dressed people (I.E. Marilyn Munster hehe) I have a wide range of different types of friends & it's fun for me to get them all together, because of these very differences. I am an artist at heart and I love to do unusual and unique art. Feels like it gets channeled through me. Uranus (along with Venus) is the square (focus) in my T-Square. Squared both Saturn in Leo & my Moon in Aqua. What a fun placement! ------------------ `Who are you?' said the Caterpillar. This was not an encouraging opening for a conversation. Alice replied, rather shyly, `I--I hardly know, sir, just at present-- at least I know who I WAS when I got up this morning, but I think I must have been changed several times since then.' ~Lewis Carroll IP: Logged |

uranus in the 12th house I can totally relate to the "Cabin fever of the mind" sentiment. I zone out very easily-even in class . And then I daydream, daydream, daydream. I have such bad ADD its not even funny. (I'm serious BTW, no joke ) There was also a place that said that I would've been forced to hide my individuality when I was young. I was.....from my dad. He always wondered why I couldn't be normal like everyone else.
