Hey everyone! I'm curious to know if there are any indications in a persons chart of any kind of psychic/clairvoyant capabilities. On my chart on Astro, it mentions clairvoyance & I truly believe this is true. What is it in my chart that would bring this about though, I don't know. Looking at my chart, does anything stand out to you? Anything I should know about....?

Hey SS

Our son is very psychic (so am I) and we all share similar placements, being:

Sun, Venus, Mercury in Scorp (Jacob also has Jupiter in Pisces like you, and I hav it in Scorp).

So maybe that says something!!!!

Ive known many a person to be very intuitive born under the sign of Scorpio and other signs too, depending on the rest of their chart!

I rule at betting!! soo..i guess I can attribute that to some psychic powers..

Somehow always win all my sports bets in college...If i pick a player,he somehow always scores...

well...I do do my research on the playing conditions strategys etc...but obvioulsy luck is involved to....

I once finished third nation wide in super selector too!

And I get a lot of deja vu feelings at times...weird..
I guess pluto and the moon are the people to look at when it comes to psychic stuff...I have a lot of nice aspects(sun moon mars mercury) to my pluto AND a very dominant moon in 8th,and pluto in 12th...

When the moon is in a good placement (trine/ sextile) with neptune, and pluto; people tend to be very intuitive and psychic. I have both these aspects, and I lately I've been unconciously predicting the future. And a water moon probably causes someone to be intuitive as well.

I think the hard aspects of neptune can work too..any neptune aspect. I think hard aspects are underrated. Any aspect can be a gift.

Psychic Sylvia Browne has Moon square Neptune...actually Moon square Saturn-Neptune opposition for a t-square.

Astrologers say that t-squares are common in very successful people too. The challenges push them to act.

Moon in watersign being intuitive is an understatement. Moon is sensitivity, psychic nature and watersign is sensitivity, psychic stuff. It's a strong placement for sensitivity, psychic stuff. I am a 2nd generation Pisces Moon on my father's side as well as also a skipped generation Pisces Moon on my mother's side with my grandfather having Pisces Moon. my mother has Scorpio Moon.

It depends on how people use it. Some people misuse it. Some people deny it and even supress it. Especially a lot of males due to strong female stereotypes about females being the more sensitive, intuitive, empathic gender. It's these types of stereotypes that get males who don't fit those male stereotypes to be mistaken for being gay...I am not saying all. I bet a lot of them. I am definitely one of them. Some people use their gifts in many different fields....not just as psychics.....these can be also health practitioners,Astrologers, psychologists, psychiatrist
entrepreneurs,police,detectives,private investigators,scientists,teachers..all kinds of careers.

I don't think my moon square neptune keeps me from being a good astrologer and being perceptive in general. I think my Moon square Neptune in 3rd is more about my Dyslexia,Dyspraxia...Dyslexics are very right hemisphere thinkers any way. They tend to have right hemisphere strengths in imagination,3D Visualization, intuition, thinking outside the box,and empathy. I actually have Pisces Moon square opposition of Saturn in Gemini in 9th and Jupiter-Neptune in Sagittarius in 3rd.

SavageScorpio,

I have Sun,Mercury, and Venus in Scorpio with Mars in Aquarius too.

This is what Stephen Arroyo said about Neptune aspects in his book, RELATIONSHIPS AND LIFE CYLCLES

Page 124 - 125

If you have a Neptune aspect to Mars or Venus, you get some really interesting combinations here, too. Both of which are commonly found, incidentally, in spiritual seekers---Mars-Neptune or Venus-Neptune. In fact, just about every person I've ever seen who was a very sincere seeker, really wanting some kind of spiritual liberation, has Venus-Neptune,Mars-Neptune or Sun or Moon in a close aspect to Neptune,or Neptune in the first house. Always a strong Neptune. And usually the Neptune aspects, in those kind of people, are the so-called "stressful" aspects;because it's the so-called stressful aspects that make you want to act on something, that make you want to do something about it. So really, squares, oppositions, and conjunctions with Neptune are the best aspect you can have for spiritual aspirations. With trines, you may have a curiosity about spiritual things, but you may do anything about it. In fact, I've seen that in many cases, to. People with a lot of Neptune trines, especially Neptune trine the Sun--they'll read books about Zen and liberation and all of this, but they often just sit on their butts and smoke pot and don't do anything about, for example meditation of any kind of spiritual practice.

His point was that stressful aspects can indicate talents, gifts too. He says that they are not all that bad. He makes a point that easy aspects aren't all that great either, and that they could be taken for granted and even misused.

It would be a big mistake to look at people's stressful aspects and assume that they have no gifts but nothing but challenges. Many have challenges and they motivated them to be successful. A lot of learning disabled are told that they won't amount to anything, but they turned out to be successful in life. A lot of physically disabled are underestimated and they surprise a lot of people. They don't let their challenges keep them from doing things. I saw a high school football player born with no legs being active in football games. Fascinating stuff.

That's how I view the hard aspects. They can be like brilliant diamonds under all that rough rock. A lot of brilliant minds have been seen as dull too.

an example of a gifted person. fiction though. Anakin Skywalker was born with the greatest force potential ever...even more than Master Yoda. His potential wasn't realized. He became overconfident and cocky because of his gifts. He failed as a Jedi and turned into a Sith. He fought his former master,Obiwan Kenobi to the death. Despite his far greater force potential,he lost the fight because of his overconfidence. Obiwan was the much better Jedi because he could control his emotions. He kept his head unlike Anakin. Obiwan over Anakin was like mind over muscle. But yeah...despite his great Jedi gifts,Anakin wasn't successful Jedi. A lot of people have gifts but aren't successful. that goes with a lot of people with trines.

Psychic indicators would be Planets in water houses or in water signs. Personal planets aspecting Neptune/Pluto maybe. Maybe a strong placement of the Moon/ ruling intuition being in a watery sign and having aspects to Neptune/Pluto/Uranus.

Uranus has been mentioned for flashes of intuition/mental telepathy if connected to Mercury/Moon.

The planet Jupiter may increase your psychic abilities possibly if connected to watery placements/Planets/houses.

I think the more placements you have the more psychic you are likely to be.

Hmm Interesting... I have Neptune in my 1st house In Sag, Squaring mar's and Saturn in the 10th house both in Virgo... And Opposing Venus in my 7th house Gemini... My Only psychic ability is very rare dreams that come about randomly... Which I never know until after the fact of course so I never know it's one of those dreams until the entire situation hits me in the face! I haven't had one in 2yrs at least. lol

Good information, Glaucus!

I have Venus conjunct Neptune (both conjunct Ascendant in Scorpio)...and I have been a spiritual seeker my whole life.
I've always had dreams that are meaningful or literally come true and have been able to sense things. Thanks for sharing that.

SavageScorpio -

For psychic/clairvoyant capabilities, I would first look at strong Aspects to Neptune and Pluto, such as your Sun Sextile Neptune, and Sun Conj Pluto.

Yeah,
I would look to the neptune sextile,
and possibly the pluto conjunction.

No planets in water houses
(unless you interpret Neptune in the 8th)...

No water signs in water houses...

But Jupiter in Pisces has potential,
especially in trine to a watery Venus.
Because of Venus, and because it is in the 11th,
it could suggest premonitions about relationships.

The Sun in the 6th, aspecting pluto and neptune,
could suggest an ability to intuit health conditions.

just to be very BASIC here, from my observations, Pisces and Scorps are very psychic. Some other signs are intuitive, but I find that the fish and the scorps are the ones with real psychic ability.

I agree that pisces and scorps are the more intuitive signs, though i'm not so sure about aqua....

it's real interesting to hang with other pisces, i just became good friends with two other fishes and when we are together we seem to be on the same page. or if someone mentions something another fish will claim that they were just thinking the same thing...eerie but i love it...
we also went to a music event with a ton of people and when we were trying to walk through the crowds we moved in unison like a school of fish...

it was great and i love other fishes...all the different types...

How about whenever an individual has an outer planet in the third house? Even if it's a cadent house would it not still play a significant part being that it's the house of the mind? Possible that it could be a strong indicator of psychic ability?

Just trying to derive some clarity on this topic. Very interesting indeed..

I have my fair share of psychic stuff going on.

Neptune in Scorpio (3rd) sextile Venus conjunct Pluto in Virgo (1st) and square Psyche in Aqua (7th); Psyche quincunx Venus/Pluto.
Uranus (conjunct ASC in Leo) sextile Merc in Libra (3rd)
Saturn (Capricorn) trine Pluto (Virgo).
Pallas in Scorpio conjunct IC.

Moon in Virgo; I read somewhere that this can be a psychic Moon placement.

Here's an interesting one. Would Psyche in Aqua opposed my name asteroid in Leo be an indicator?

Interesting thread, but I don't understand what are psychic abilities? Is intuitive a part of it?

Yes, Tulipe, intuition is included. Also, the "clairs". Clairvoyance (clear seeing), clairsentience (clear feeling/hunches/intuition), clairaudience (clear hearing), and/or claircognizance (clear knowing; knowing something/how to do something and not sure HOW you know). I'm also going to venture a guess that the word "psychic" as it is generally used, can include some paranormal experiences.

Thanks Micole Maree, I'd have to research more on this topic as I have some of my dreams turn out to be true and other unexplainable experiences.
