I've been using up to 5 degrees. Is that too wide? Does it differ between aspects, say conjunction looser orb than sextile?IP: Logged |

That`s a very good question; I`d like to know that, too. I also use a 5° orb with personal planets, but a much closer use with Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. But I really like to know what others think.DD IP: Logged |

Listed here are the MAXIMUM orbs that I, personally, would allow for consideration. I'm sure others' criteria will differ:Conjunction 5-6 degrees Opposition 5-6 degrees Square 5 degrees Trine 4-5 degrees Sextile 2-3 degrees Semisextile 1 degree Quincunx 1-2 degrees Quintile 1-2 degrees BiQuintile 1-2 degrees Quindecile 1-2 degrees Semiquintile 1 degree Semisquare 1 degree Sesquiquadrate 1 degree Septile 1 degree Novile 1 degree Unidecimal ½ degree

Wow. Thanks for that SW!Being a complete novice everything south of sextile is pretty much foreign to me. I have, however, noticed that adze.com uses the other aspects you mentioned in their readings as well. Very long and detailed readings! IP: Logged |

Here's the close aspects I know (not sure exact birthday so I can't be accurate)sun sex neptune 0 deg sun trine pluto 1 deg moon trine uranus 5 deg venus sex mars 1-3 deg mars trine jupiter 0-1 deg mars sex uranus 0-1 deg mars square pluto 4-5 deg uranus con neptune 0 deg uranus sex pluto 2 deg I used 5 deg as maximum orb, do these look like aspects close enough to count? I know they're mainly outer planets and don't have much significance really. IP: Logged |
