Thats cool, someone attracted to there own sign! Must be different with water and earth though, because I could never stand Libra men at least in a romantic light. Always felt like I wasn't learning anything or growing from dating someone too similiar to me.IP: Logged |

ummm Taureans are nice…but I don’t go crazy..I like how they’re soft yet practical I would put Virgo - but their head is so far up their own arse.. Leos are charmers, but a handful. IP: Logged |

I think I'm attracted to Sags. Maybe cos they're easygoing. Only problem is that most of the Sag guys I know spend their money like water. (I'm a Taurus...)I've been obsessing over this stupid Virgo guy with a Sag ascendant for quite awhile. He kind of acts like a Sag---has extreme wanderlust. Can't pin him down though, too independent. Why does he have to be so damn charming. Never had the chance to be with a Leo guy, but I sure would like to try. IP: Logged |

I don't have any particular sign stuff...after all,Astrology is more than just sunsigns. The only one that matters to me is my girlfriend and she has Sun,Mercury,Mars in Aries along with Moon in Scorpio and Pisces Ascendant. I have Sun,Mercury, and Venus in Scorpio along with Moon in Pisces and Virgo Ascendant
Pisces is my descendant(sign on 7th house cusp) Her Pisces Ascendant opposes my Virgo Ascendant with 16 minutes of arc. her Ascendant is even contraparallel my Ascendant with 6 minutes of arc. That's a bilevel(oppose and contraparallel)Ascendant-Ascendant connection. That's equivalent to an exact Ascendant oppose Ascendant. Very strong physical/relationship connection. Aries is on my 8th house cusp which is the transformation, sex, intensity house. Her Sun,Mercury, and Mars are in my 8th house. She has a strong sexual, transformative, intense influence on me Her Scorpio Moon conjuncts my Scorpio Sun with 3'56 orb. That's one of the classical connection for relationships, marriage. IP: Logged |

Oh his moon is in Taurus. This means he should be a loyal person, no? But he's admitted to talking to different girls and then getting bored with them easily. Just a lot of emphasis on personal freedom, which is fine. I'm now thinking I ought to attribute that to his Venus sq. Uranus and not the asc.In any event, I think I may have been thrown into the friends zone. C'est la vie! IP: Logged |

teaologist,I definitely would say that it's his Venus square Uranus. That's an erratic, unpredictable love nature as well as a strong love of independence. He can have change of partners. I'd be too scared to get involved with a woman with hard Venus-Uranus aspect. Another thing...Venus disposits his Moon because Venus rules Taurus which is the sign that his Moon is in. Uranus squaring his Moon's dispositor might modify the stable and faithful nature of his Moon in Taurus. How is his Moon aspected? Gemini Descendant can indicate that he can more than one partner as well as variety of partners. I read that they usually have more than 1 marriage.

yeah, I think that's definitely the venus square uranus.. my ex had that aspect, and he could never make up his mind- his moon was in Taurus, too. While having a Sag ASC DOES make me independent and I do need some freedom, I definitely don't need a variety of partners. Once I'm commited, that's it. That could be my moon & venus in Scorpio talking.IP: Logged |

Also if a person has Mars conjunction Uranus, that proves to be very difficult in a relationship. My boyfriend has this aspect(Sun sign Scorpio)and we've had many fights about 'his' freedom. Now I know what aspects to look for when I want to avoid heartache in the future. People with this aspect don't like to be held down by anything or... anyone.IP: Logged |

And I have Venus/Uranus soft aspect...I don't know how it is with a woman having this aspect(Mars/Uranus), but with a man, there is never a dull moment, something always comes up(the good, the bad, and God forbid...the ugly). This is my personal experience with it, and I know it's one I won't forget. Here's both of us an example from the relationship vault: ME- "No I just want to be calm, I don't want to find myself in awkwardness anymore, let's be normal for a bit." HIM-"Why don't you like the unpredictable and the unsettling, can't you understand I NEED that awkwardness to feel alive, I need to constantly put myself and if I can you as well into the unknown!"Welcome to the rollercoaster with no hinges or bolts to hold it in together! I will admit though it was one of the things that first attracted me. IP: Logged |

*feels sheepish*Haha, well to be fair to the poor guy... I should mention that my own Venus is opp. Uranus (which is in my 5th house of all friggin places). When I first read that, it took me aback. I'm wayy too shy to be a flirt or serial dater. But I've only been in one relationship so far and I'm still learning a lot about myself (with astrology as one guide). I thought this aspect meant I was destined to be thrice divorced, all probably being my fault. From what I understand, I guess the potential is there, but I would much rather work f'ing hard to avoid that...! Oh yeah, his Mars is also conjunct Uranus. = ) Thanks everyone for your input! Libra, thats definitely not me....not to make light of your situation. I need to have stability in my life, especially in my relationships. And plus, it wouldn't be fair to my sweetiepie. I'm sure he has a strong uranian influence too (he's a scorpio as well) but it doesn't come out like that either. The way I see my mar/uranus aspect coming out is like this: I have always had a problem with people telling me what to do and when I was in my mid-teens, I was a rebel without a cause. My mother comes from a conservative family (You know, us Mocambiquans ) and she would not allow me to do things that most of my peers could do (like having a boyfriend), so I went and did these things anyways.....behind her back.
My boyfriend thought I would be like your boyfriend before he went out with me because of the company I kept at the time. Meaning, A former sag friend. She was a total free spirit and almost non-commital, she had many many admirers and flirted with them all. Unfortunately, she was also non-commital with her friendships as well which is why I had to drop her. Anyways, he thought I would be like her, the end. IP: Logged |

teaologist, free will is the ultimate factor. Your Venus oppose Uranus can be a positive thing. You could be exciting, stimulating, innovative in relationships. It could also be good aspect for art...especially modern art. This could be like computer graphics. It could also be something like avant guarde type art. This could also be the love of the unconventional, unique, different, exotic. This can be an aspect of somebody that is into relationships like that. It can be a relationship with a person of different background.....whether it's ethnic, social, religion, etc. My mother has Venus conjunct/parallel Uranus, and she's white woman that has never been with a white man. She was mostly into black men and some hispanic men. My father was black. Also..Venus oppose Uranus can indicate that you can attract unstable, erratic partners. With Venus conjunct/parallel Uranus,my mom attracted to those type of partners including my father. We have never seen him again since I was a year old. My father's Uranus opposes my Venus too.
Oppositions is are projection aspects as well as relationship aspects. It calls you to be aware of your own need for independence in relationships. IP: Logged |

Very insighteful. I have a Venus in Gemini Oppose Uranus as well. Except that Uranus is Conjunct Saturn. So my Venus is Opposing my Saturn also. I'm not sure if that means I am less likely to be eratic.IP: Logged |

It use to be Gemini for me. Every long term relationship up until now have all been with a Gemini. I guess the ones that I tend to notice straight away are usually Aries or Leos. I'm not really attracted to just a certain sun sign. I have noticed that when I'm attracted to someone they generally have a water venus... or Scorpio / Libra placements or houses prominent in their charts. I recently met a new friend whom I work with. We get along really well... it's effortless... the conversation just flows and just a really easy/comfortable feeling between us. And of course, the dork I am, I asked the B-day. I forgot to add... I also work with a Pisces on the weekends. Her and I don't really get each other. So, sun signs alone really don't play a big part in my friendships/attractions. I've also noticed that there usually is 3rd house and/or at least one Gemini placement mixed in as well. Capricorns and/or 10th house placements are becoming more into play with people I meet now. But... I'm pretty content with what Capricorn friend and I have going... so.... Just Capricorn sun/Libra moon/Scorpio venus for me right now. Eeesshhh... I've rambled on enough... _________________________________________ Scorpio sun, venus, mars, mercury, and uranus Libra moon, pluto, and asc. IP: Logged |

Leo Suns and Leo Moons drive me crazy - as in crazy in love and it always ends bad!!!Libra moons make me feel at home. I've only met 2 guys with Libra moons (Leo suns) in my life and they felt like soulmates. I'm a Sag with a Libra moon. IP: Logged |

I absolutely adore Leo men (my Venus and DSC is Leo) but tend to like them more as friends than lovers. I've always been really attracted to Capricorns so I married one! I've also been drawn to quite a few Pisces (my North Node sign), Cancers (my Sun, Mercury and Mars), Virgos (my moon, Pluto, South Node and Vertex), Libras (my Jupiter and Uranus) and Aquarians (my ASC). Libra.. they have charm, and they are nice to talk with.. but somehow too passive and indecisive to me.. ~.~;Sagittarius.. great humor, can't stop laughting about what they say!! XD but seems too free to be tied down lol.. but it would be great to be friends with.. But the best for me is Scorpio.. ^_^ they are intense, so devoted and misteriously charming!! And maybe coz my main planets are all in the 8th house lol.. ^_~; IP: Logged |
