Hello, Everyone....Forgive me if I'm away a lot and haven't bought the time to post anything @ this forum...but I'll compensate real soon... But for now, I have a question: What planet or sign combination involves spaciness (or in this case, daydreaming)? Because they're so many people, like me, who has a tendency to literally space out for so many reasons. Mostly they're *really* deep inside the dream center and never seemed to leave the building. I'm guessing that they saw something and for some reason they've recorded that image and played it back inside their heads and alter it so vividly & differently that they seemed to lost track of time & location. Can anyone give me an meaning for the 24-Hour Dream Center to be open endlessly? ------------------ Hank Campbell Far Rockaway, Queens, NY *Sun: Leo, Moon: Pisces, ASC: Capricorn IP: Logged |

Neptune...... You have moon in Pisces and a Leo Sun. My hubby has the same thing plus he has Neptune in his 3rd house.
He can actually lucid dream while he is awake- he sort of slips right into it, but not at inopportune moments. Maybe he will post here? ~Pidaua IP: Logged |

Well, I dont have to post my planets. My wife has already done that for me. Thank you my love. Yes, I do an awful lot of daydreaming. I have always done that though. I remember I would be in school and I would look out the window and daydream of playing sports and other things. I have also daydreamed things that would occur in the future. Not to say I am a fortune teller or any of the sort. I couldnt tell you when they will happen and most of the time it happens when I sleep. I dont recall most of those dreams until it starts happen in real life. Although there have been several dreams I had that I remembered that came true. I think what prompts me to daydream is my mind starts to wonder especially when I start thinking of things that I like to do. When I am at work or have a task to complete. I really focus on what needs to be accomplished to keep my daydreaming at bay. If I am not focused on the task, I will began to daydream again. IP: Logged |

I agree with both Pidaua and Leo....it's definitely Neptune. I have Neptune exactly conjunct my Ascendant, and I can really get lost in daydreams/my own thoughts/just zoning out! IP: Logged |

MisterHank; You just nailed one of my biggest challenges. And for the record I have Neptune in 3H Scorpio, and Moon Pisces 7H. If used well you have an endless supply of creativity. If it falls into fantasy-land you may sometimes convince yourself that the fantasy can be realised, even though it has no foundation on reality whatsoever. Pulling back and seeing things as they really are takes loving advice from others, and a appreciation for the Dream for what it is. A dream.IP: Logged |

I agree.I have Moon in Pisces square Neptune in 3rd with 1'22 orb. My Mercury parallel Neptune and Mercury conjunct Sun/Neptune midpoint adds to all that. I have a very rich innerlife. I have a vivid imagination. I think mainly in pictures. I visualize nonstop including 3-Dimensional. I even picture myself doing things before I do it. I even visualize myself doing things like I am seeing myself in the mirror. I have a history of receptive-expressive language problems. I am Dyslexic. I have been a good poet and creative writer. I grew up reading mythology. I am a good astrologer because I am very rightbrained which helps me to see patterns and see things from various perspectives as well as being empathic, intuitive and see the overall picture. I am becoming more interested in geometrical concepts in Astrology like midpoints and aspect configurations including even involving the minor aspects. People who think mainly in pictures might not necessarily daydream. It's just that they are very visual and might have problems with verbal stuff. They are rightbrained thinkers. Rightbrained thinking is not appreciated in the schools. Education is more geared towards the leftbrained types. Montessori and Waldorf Schools can be good for rightbrained types. Rightbrained types often diagnosed inattentive type ADHD even though they may not have attention deficits. I was diagnosed as having inattentive type ADHD myself at age of 32 years old. Nonlinear thinkers are often perceived as defective in society...especially by mental health professionals. Thinking and learning in pictures rather than words is thousands of times faster, and is subliminal, going directly into the subconscious mind. This visual learning style is what a Creative Thinker uses. The acquisition of information as pictures create an immense amount of multi-dimensional information, that can be manipulated in many forms by the brain to enable intuitive thinking, perception, and other interesting thought processes. Frequently this learning style leads to thought delays, because of the tremendous amounts of information processed. http://fp03-146.web.dircon.net/new_page_24.htm
Albert Einstein had Sun in Pisces semisquare Neptune. Thomas Edison had Sun conjunct Neptune as well as Sun conjunct Mercury/Neptune midpoint.
I am glad that they weren't on Ritalin. They have been thought as being Dyslexic and ADHD. Albert Einstein has also been thought as being on the autistic spectrum. IP: Logged |

I do a lot of daydreaming (hence my username). And I'll get so into it, and I won't be able to snap out. I seem to do it at the worst moments too....in class, while I'm doing my homework, while I'm reading, etc. I just can't listen to people or read long things without getting distracted by my own thoughts. I love to daydream, but I wish I could be more in control of it and that I could pay attention more. ------------------ sun/mercury in taurus, moon in leo, scorpio rising, venus/mars in pisces IP: Logged |

Hi,I have squares from my Neptune to my Mercury/Moon Conjunction in Pisces. I can get real spaced out at times and I find it difficult to pull myself back down to earth. I have been reading a book lately on spiritual astrology which talks mostly about the Planet Neptune. Here is a quote from the book which I particularly like because it helps me realize how I can overdo the spiritual side of my life and this is not always healthy for me to do. LEAD A BALANCED LIFE. Just as it is unbalanced to focus only on the material things with no love for things of the spirit, so also is it unhealthy to focus so much on spiritual things that you lose the ability to operate in the material world. We are on this plane to master the tasks that can only be learned here. Otherwise we would just hang out on the etheral palnes forever. To avoid dealing with the material side of life is to cop out on the work we came here for. A bit of the rarified life of spirit goes a long way. Besides attending to material tasks, we must pay attention to our bodies and learn to relate to others. We also need fun and relaxation. When we live a full life, were less apt to give too much attention to psychic powers. Power and ego are traps which lead us to unhealthy practices. To summarize these principles, a full, balanced life can keep us from going off the deep end in dealing with the psychic and occult. Then the spiritual realms can only enrich you. P.S I may have gone a bit off topic here, but the downside of Neptune is losing touch with reality. I have learned A LOT about myself from this book. Even were I may brag about my spiritual sensitivity and the different occurances which have happened to me. I hadn't realized I have attached a sort of ego to my Neptune. Shining Ray IP: Logged |

As I've said before many times, I'm a member of this club. I have a 12th house stellium with neptune in it opposing my mercury and trining my moon. I could especially relate to this last line that you stated, MisterHank:
quote: I'm guessing that they saw something and for some reason they've recorded that image and played it back inside their heads and alter it so vividly & differently that they seemed to lost track of time & location.
I think your moon is pisces is probably a big factor-and in combination with that Leo sun of yours, its no suprise. IP: Logged |
