mama,While looking at your birth chart click on "Free Horoscopes". Go to "Extended Chart Selection", click on the drop down list and find "Natal Chart and Transits*". Click on the button and there you have it! Pointing and clicking, Tim IP: Logged |

MM ~The green glyphs outside the chartwheel are the transiting planets. The degree/sign of the transiting planets are also listed in green in the planetary positions listing. Aspects the transiting planets are making are listed down in the grid. IP: Logged |

On astro.com home page they have Forecast section. it will give you interpretation and time frame for some of your transits. Also, you can change the date/month/year on extended chart selections page and it will give you an idea how long tranists are going to last IP: Logged |

MM ~The transiting (green) planets move counter-clockwise around the chartwheel, unless they are retrograde (shown with a little "r" by the glyph) then they move clockwise. As for how long they last, it depends If the planet goes retro, the transit lasts longer than "normal". For "average" duration, one way is to divide the time of the orbit by how many days in the year. Sun - 1 year to "orbit" or about 1 degree per day Moon - 2 to 2-1/2 days in a sign or house Mercury - about 87 days to orbit the sun, or about 4 degrees per day Venus - about 225 days to orbit the Sun, or about 1-1/2 degrees per day Mars - about 687 days to orbit the Sun, or about 1/2 degree per day Jupiter - about 12 years to orbit the Sun, or one year in each sign Saturn - about 29 years to orbit the Sun, or approx 2-1/2 years in each sign Uranus - about 84 years to orbit the Sun, or about 7 years in each sign Neptune - about 165 years to orbit the Sun, or about 14 years in each sign Pluto - about 248 years to orbit the Sun, or about 20 years in each sign Here's the Transits page from www.cafeastrology.com : http://www.cafeastrology.com/transits.html IP: Logged |
