It's the house of taxes, insurance and joint finances. I can sincerely say that those things have caused me more stress and sleepless nights than the knowledge that my death is inevitable.

My 8th House cusp is Virgo (though most of of my 8th House is Libra) and I have a stellium of Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto (along with several asteroids and midpoints) in it. I'm Aquarius Rising so my Libra Uranus in the 8th House gets more weight. Also the 8th House cusp being Virgo is also very significant because I'm a Cancer Sun and my Moon is Virgo. So both my Sun ruler and my chart ruler are in the 8th.

Jupiter in the 8th is true for me. I have an inheritance/trust fund.

Uranus and Pluto manifest as intense and harsh but also transformative life, death and rebirth cycles, over and over. A lot of sudden upsets and shocking events and constant turmoil but also incredible growth and evolution.

My 8th house is Capricorn, and it's an empty house. Saturn is in Libra in the 5th house.I have no idea how to interpret this...

my 8th starts in scorpio and is rulled by

pluto [conjunct venus] in 7th

or

mars from the 12th depending which system one uses.

think i prefer pluto on this one. since otherwise i'm going away in a hospital [12th house] by some invasive procedure [mars sq uranus, saturn, neptune, moon] or maybe even overdose...

and i have a sun on the cusp btwn 8th and 9th house [technically in 8th]

so how am i gonna die

House VIII in Sagittarius

Death will certainly be in a foreign land or on a journey abroad. Nevertheless this will happen after a long life, when the body is too exhausted to continue. Easy death.

I like the easy death part, however the travel part is unlikely as I don't travel.

When reading the house rulers pdf, it said that I would die in a foreign country.

It also said that I would own property in a foreign country and my partner would be foreign.

So I'm guessing I'm moving away to wherever my partner is from and then DIE (at an old age because my 8th is in Capricorn)

My eighth house cusp is Capricorn and it is empty so therefore I look to it's ruling planet correct? That would be Saturn. The parts of the body ruled by Capricorn are the bones, joints, knees, and teeth. Not sure how any these could lead to death besides bone cancer or a badly infected tooth.

Someones neighbour or friend committed suicide on here i dont remember who it was but it was recent and the chart she posted of the person was all grand trines and looked like the perfect chart. Point is that you cant necessarily predict a short or long life. I heard north node in 8th gives a long life and i know that NN gives lots of babies to someone who has it in their 5th house also.

What i did notice in that other persons chart was that pluto was in negative aspect to the 8th house ruler and the sun at the same time.

------------------
Sun.. Cancer

Moon.. Gemini

Mars.. Cancer

Mercury.. Cancer

Venus.. Leo

Ascendant....... Virgo

My eighth house is ruled by Aries. My mars is in aries in the 7th. it squares Uranus Saturn and Neptune. doesnt sound that great. But I have always seen myself going out in an Aries/Mars related way. Im ok with this.

Belgz, are you talking about my astro twin's suicide?

Transiting Pluto was conjunct his natal Saturn, which was his 8th house ruler. His natal Pluto was in in the 6th house (where as mine is in my 5th, so maybe if I had children one would've died?)

I've got Gemini on the cusp of my 8th house. And I think that death clues aren't so obvious with this sign... or are they? Am I gonna die while talking or something? But I read somewhere that the sensitive body parts of Gemini are the airways (lungs,...), the arms (no idea why ?!) and the nervous system (makes sense).

Oh great,

I have Cancer on the cusp of the 8th house with retograde Saturn in it; Moon, ruler of 8th house is in Aquarius in 2nd house. The only aspect Moon makes is an exact quinkunx to Saturn (Saturn also makes a trine to Jupiter).

Don`t know what to think of it, but the Cancer / Saturn in relation to 8th house doesn`t look all too good.

this is a depressing topic, and should be left alone. trying to predict death, leaves little room to live life.

There's a groundbreaking book on this subject, I recently purchased, The Astrology of Death by Richard Houck. I haven't read it yet, so I can't comment on the details of his techniques, but he does use a combination of sidereal and western astrology.

Bernadette Brady has an interesting article on the subject of vitality and life force: Article - 1997 - Guido Bonatti's method of Hyleg and Alcoccoden http://www.bernadettebrady.com/Pdfs/Hyleg.pdf

I have this book. In it he says there is far more to the matter than the 8th house, and goes into detail on other indicators. In a complex manner that deflects frivolous enquiry.

I have Mars in Capricorn in the 8th - involved in an ugly T square of Sun in Aries opposite Uranus in Libra.

I am quitting a driving job that I just got last month - there have been too many close calls on the road due to other drivers. Right now my t square is being activated.

I have 8th in Gemini as well, but i don't forsee myself dying as a result of talking. Just doesn't seem likely.

However, i was always told that Gemini in the 8th House meant a quick death... or possibly premature...?

My 8th is in Taurus with Mars and Moon in it (conjunct) that makes a T square with Pluto and Venus.

Knowing my luck, I'll die during sex. lol :P

I know someone who has this. And the death was neither of talking [ ], easy, quick or premature. And the said person has jupiter and venus in 8th house. One would think that would be a relief but i'm afraid not
