Jupiter sitting on or near the the Ascendant can give the person a large frame and a proclivity towards overindulgence.

Folks with water Moons can plump slightly as they grow older. (It shows in their faces...) Pisces Moon can be a culprit of weight retention.

That scenario sounds about right for your Taurus friend with the Gemini rising. Lucky so-and-so...

My brother and sister both have gemini moons and they've always had fast metabolism. I think it would be an air mooner. Although after years, my metabolism has recently sped up, but my moon is in virgo.I guess it could be the worry wart in me....stress does it.

I've got a Gemini Ascendant, and a stellium in Sag, but I haven't been slender since high school.

I have some trim Taurus friends. All male. With female Taurus' it's a mixed bag.

I'd guess Sag to be somewhat thin generally.

I have a Sag ascendant, and I'm very very slender. I have a really fast metabolism- I think that has to do mostly with my genes though. My mom is the same way, so was my dad.

I love reading stuff like this.. I am not skinny by any means.. I've got a good 25-30 pounds to lose. I have insulin sensitity and other things.. i have to watch everything I eat because of this..anyway. I have an Aries moon, A cancer sun/scorp ascendent.. I have always battled with my weight since I was a teen.. When Saturn hit my 6th house I dropped 40lbs during that time. I have Venus in Gemini in my 7th...I tend to gain weight in relationships. The whole comfort thing I guess. My mom is very thin, but father always indulged.. My husband has a Virgo moon, sun and Asc was stick thin when he was younger, and then packed on the pounds when he hit about 20yrs old.
