Anyways I'm not good at synastry at all so I can't really pinpoint what aspect makes your relationship so intense and deep, but anyways I'll try.

Your moons are trine by I think a 3 degree orb, this indicates good emotional compatability. You understand his heart and he understands yours. So you guys are at ease with each other. To quote from an astrology book I have, this is one of the "crown jewel" aspects in synastry and also any couple who has this aspect, by instinct and reflex, comfort and nourish each other. Maybe thats why you feel so comfortable around him and feel like you've known him for ages.

Again I'm just a novice, so I might be totally wrong.

In the synastry chart, aspects between the Sun and/or Moon between you indicate a "connection" between the people in the synastry. Your Moons are trine (very easy energy), indicating you have a very easy connection with each other. Looking at the personal planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Mars), you have have six "easy" aspects and 2 challenging aspects (leaving out the minor aspects and aspects that are too wide), indicating that there is an "easy" personal connection between you. One challenge is your Mercuries (thinking, also talking/daily work) opposing (energy is over-excited by) each other, indicating the possibility of argument. However, most of the rest of the personal energy is VERY easy, so you can probably "patch things up" pretty quickly! A challenge is you both have connections to each other's South node (the past), so you will both have to work to use the energies that move each of you forward in life, and pass by the energies of the other person which might hold you back.

I've met a guy before who I had a lot of trines with but it felt very boring and he wasn't my kind of person in that way. But with this guy it's actually a lot of fun. We're very much so on the same wavelength.

I actually think it's something to do with the Neptune aspects. He has Venus/Mars conj and trine Neptune in natal. I have Mars conj Neptune and Venus trines it.. Our version of 'true love' and what it should be like is exactly the same. He's dreamy like me lol and he also wants to help people like me Mars/Neptune.. hopefully we don't delude ourselves though lol
