I don't know any aqua men, but I am so not a person who acts in a group. Actually, I hate being in a group or club - hate mob mentality, hate asking for help. I am the person who would get involved to stop a crime in progress, but then again, I'm fearless and despise criminals and people who don't care to stop them, or would "rather not get involved." This is probably the reason I am planning on attending law school to become a prosecutor. I like to rely on myself and I always fight for others, sometimes more than myself. But maybe that is in spite of my aqua, and due to all my sagg in me. I often don't care, and can be indifferent, but only with people or things that aren't worth caring about. I know one aries man who is completely indifferent to his wife and marriage, and doesn't care if they break up, unless she takes his business. I supppose he is the exception, rather than the rule, though. IP: Logged |

Jan_A What you said was quite to the point, actually. Thanks. As a sun sign Aquarian female myself, I used to be so literally driven out of my mind by "the" guy I've been talking about on and off at LL, who possesses VERY Aqua aura- in the beginning, I would complain all the time about his "indifference", his detachment, his being, or seeming distant, and that I had this feeling that he didn't care. He didn't care about anything, not to mention what was on my mind or what I had to say. I understand that sort of frustration stemming from the Aquarian detachment. Luckily, we kind of sorted that out. I still don't like that detachment that much, you know, being very intense myself- I had a pretty hard time getting used to that. As time goes by, I gradually came to understand that he DOES care- a lot, deeply. I can't really speak for myself as I don't perceive myself a "typical" sun sign Aquarian, in light of my own nativities. Nonetheless, I have to say that, I certainly find that Aries force admirable sometimes- like James Watson, the co-discoverer of DNA, although I'm not so sure if I should take him as a positive example as he is a very controversial figure. Michael J Fox wrote about how his co-star in "The Hard Way", James Woods' intensity left him overwhelmed, but that intensity is exactly what I find appealing in James Woods. I'd like to thank you for giving us a different perspective on the bright side of Aries men- but in their case, it's not really about being indifferent- but rather, some of them being inconsiderate about the needs of those around them. Aquarian men do take action- not ALL of them would do absolutely nothing, but usually just in ways that's not as noticeable as, for instance, Aries males, or other Fire signs IP: Logged |
