Hello, I was just wanting to know if anyone else has this aspect(Sun square Jupiter) in their own natal chart and if so, what kind of effect does it seem to have on your life/wellbeing? Is it good to have or just a pain?

I have this aspect.

From what I've read and can agree with on personal experience... it seems to indicate and promote an "over doing it" kind of personality.

Sometimes when I do something... I just go way out on it.

My jupiter is in my 10th house... sun is house 1/2.

I think I work a little much. (Currently up to 70 hours a week... which I cut back from 80). It seems to be the one area that I over extend myself. I can't help it... it's almost compulsive.

I have this. It represents an abundance but a waste of energy of some kind, and yes maybe over-doing it generally.

Once worked with a girl that had this aspect. She had sun in Aries square jupiter capricorn. I overheard the manager praising her, one time, because of her 'positive personality'. And yes, she did have a very enthusiastic disposition. She was the type of person that would react to things in a BIG way, with gasping or loud laughter etc. She was also very open and would blurt out very frank things (sometimes embarrassing, or sexually related) in a matter of fact way, no signs of embarrassment what so ever.

I have the opposition. What everyone else said is true, plus I gloss over details all the time, even though I'm a Virgo. I also have a Sag ASC/Sun & mercury in the 9th house/plus Jupiter aspecting almost all of my personal planets so the Sag tendencies are a little strong for me.
