Portishead..

"Sour Times (Nobody Loves Me)"

Actually, any song by Portishead... she is always making some lover feel guilty for leaving her by endlessly disecting the relationship (Virgo sun) they are very beautiful, emotional songs (Libra Moon) and there is something dark and disturbing about each song (Scorpio rising).

Fun topic!

For my natal chart, Im gonna have to think on it. It's easier to represent the transits or the mutuable planets in my chart.

I like that song "Sour times" MK! When Im down I feel that one, as well as "Bittersweet symphony."

I cant think of any other songs right now.

I've got Madonna's new song "Jump" stuck in my head....cant stand Madonna, but cant help liking her music.

DD~

I listened to Confessions on a Dance Floor everyday, all day, when i first bought it. Jump so accurately describes the transits in my life right now that I feel like a big dorky cheeseball when I get all teary eyed and empowered when I listen to it.

gads, i am SUCH a girl sometimes...

MK I like Sorry and Hung Up too...I just get a flavour of whats on Confessions from what the radio stations play here.

Didnt really know the lyrics to jump so I checked it out. Funny thing is I can relate to it too...Here are the lyrics:

quote:
"Jump"

There's only so much you can learn in one place
The more that I wait, the more time that I waste

I havn't got much time to waste
It's time to make my way
I'm not afraid of what I'll face
But I'm afraid to stay
I'm going down my road and I can make it alone
I'll work and I'll fight till I find a place of my own

[Chorus]
Are you ready to jump
Get ready to jump
Don't ever look back oh baby
Yes, I'm ready to jump
Just take my hand
get ready to jump

We learned out lesson from the start
My sisters and me
The only thing you can depend on
Is your family
Life's gonna drop you down like a limb from a tree
It sways and it swings and it bends until it makes you see

[Chorus]

Are you ready?

There's only so much you can learn in one place
The more that you wait
The more time that you waste

I'll work and I'll fight till I find a place of my own

It sways and it swings and it bends until you make it your own

I can make it alone [repeat]
(my sisters and me)

[Chorus X2]

I like feeling like a dorky cheeseball
