Interesting observation!
I'm always very careful where I look, bc my eyes seem to attract a lot more than I'm comfortable with.
When I’m upset, but don’t want to let ppl know, I look away. I noticed that my friends suddenly become aware of my feelings when they see my eyes, especially when our eyes meet.
Also, for instance, at a subway station or in the street, I make a point of looking down and avoiding people. if our eyes meet, they come right up at me and start telling me stuff like we're close friends. It scares me to know how available I must look if complete strangers feel comfortable (or invited to) sharing intimate thoughts like that.
and at conferences, if I ever lock eyes with the speaker, they start addressing me, and looking at me constantly. it completely distracts me as I feel trapped somehow and my focus shifts to look for my way out and away (but this could be uranus-conj-my-scorpio-moon need to escape the 'intimacy').
