I think things would be boring if my moon was anywhere else. I think my moon being in the 8th is a big reason why I'm into the occult.

Same here!
It's strange, i'm more into occult than my friend with a huge stellium in the 8th. It's like a natural attraction to this way of viewing things.

I would take away my venus in Cancer and Moon in Libra. This way I wouldn't care about love.

------------------
Virgo Asc & Mars
Gemini Sun
Libra Moon (conjunct Pluto 0º in 2nd house)
Gemini Mercury
Cancer Venus

I sort of wish my Venus wasn't square my Saturn/Uranus, but it makes life that much more interesting. I would probably move my Saturn/Uranus conjunction from my 7th house to my 8th.

i want to remove my Scorpio Moon and get maybe an air or earth replacement. My Scorpio Sun is enough water for me.

Plus i would like to remove my Venus-Pluto conjunction (in Libra) because it makes me subconsciously crave for drama. Maybe just move one of the two planets a bit so they don't form a conjunction.

I want an earth Mars in place of my Libra Mars to help me achieve more at my work.

And remove my Saturn from the 1st House, i just found out recently that it makes me somewhat of a loner.

The beauty of this exercise is it makes us aware of what we need to work on in order to evolve into a better individual.

Ah, that's easy!! I wouldnt hesitate a second and get rid of my saturn in the 1st. Way to hard on myself. I would put it in a less personal house. I'd also be inclined to trade my moon in virgo for something more relaxed which doesnt analys EVERYTHING to death, really exhausting. Maybe moon in leo might be nice, or moon in taurus. All the women I have met with these placements seem to be self-confident and relaxed in a very healthy sort of way. Very admirable!!

I'd move my planets around so I didn't get killed from all the transits, but it's too late for that. I won't have any transits to them like I have for awhile, so I guess I'd leave them, unless I could travel back in time.

I'd get rid of my moon/pluto aspect. Too intense.

I'd move my saturn from the 12th house. But where would I want saturn? Can I just dispose of it altogether? I guess If I have to keep it, I'd place it in the 10th house, where it's at dignified.

I'd move neptune from the 7th to the 9th.

I'd want venus in the 1st, conjunct the AC, so I can be charming. Jupiter there would be nice, too.

I'd want moon in cancer. Then again, I don't know about that...I kind of like my fire moon. I don't want to change any of my signs, really, just placements. Maybe I'd like a moon in taurus, if I had to change it and neptune in pisces, which would most likely make me very old or not born yet, lol.

Definitely the Saturn in my first house. I don't know where I would rather have it, but I just wish it hadn't been there. I have struggled with it for 50 years. Before I became interested in astrology, I had no clue why I am the way that I am. It wasn't until I started learning about Saturn and how it plays out in your life, as to the house placement, that I sort of understood. I guess it was my "Ah-ha" moment. It's restriction, fear, difficulty. Feeling inadequate, and being afraid to be assertive. All lessons for me in this lifetime, I guess.

This is from DK Foundation:

"When Saturn is in House I, there is karma arising from assertiveness. Past life experience has been characterised by either ruthless self-seekingness or a reluctance to undertake any kind of action to help self. Either way - and the position of the Moon will indicate which - there is a need in the current lifetime to focus upon the related issues of responsibilities to self and respect for the boundaries of others. People with Saturn in House I start life feeling vulnerable and inadequate. Frequently the sense of inferiority is rooted in dissatisfaction with their personal appearance. Negativity about self creates a sense of being unequal to the challenges, which present themselves, and to impotence and defeatism. For people with Saturn in House I self-worth and personal effectiveness are the two sides of the same coin: if they are to overcome the fearfulness they experience when confronting change in any form they first need to develop a more positive attitude to themselves"

This rings pretty true for me. I have spent most of my life being afraid to make decisions. Being afraid to step up and be responsible. Having enough courage to speak up for myself. Okay, well that might be my Chiron in the Third. But anyway...I have definitely felt restricted all my life. Or I placed those restrictions on myself, due to Saturn's placement. The caution, the restriction, the thinking things through. I overanalyze everything. I look at all possible outcomes before I make a decision about anything.

Here is more of what DK Foundation says about Saturn in the first house. And it's played out my entire life. I guess I never learned how to turn Saturn around.

In a chart, Saturn by sign and house position describes the state of the conditioned mind, the mental fabric - containing the idea of Fate - that creative hierarchy called the human personality has spun over lifetimes. Each of us in incarnation has a portion of it, for the duration of a lifetime this portion of the fabric becomes ‘ours’ and it forms the foundation of our personal realities. We act in accordance with the message that this mental pattern emits, and that message will always be about self-survival: how to protect the separated self because the evolutionary process requires perpetuation and continuity. The personality operates within a perimeter fence created by our mental pattern. This fence is guarded by Saturn and it will challenge any attempt by other aspects of the personality, represented by inner planets, to tackle life in a different way. This is Saturn, the ruler of the zodiacal sign, Capricorn, serving the aspect of evolution that requires the preservation of the form. It thrives on the unconscious repetition of the pattern and its means of enforcement is the fear of disintegration. This is the face of Saturn that is turned towards the Moon. It is the face of Fate.

Beyond that perimeter fence is the higher self, the bridge to the Soul, that has a different understanding of what continuity involves where the human kingdom is concerned.. The higher self is governed by Uranus, acting in collaboration with the other outer planets. Collectively, they place Saturn under ceaseless pressure, to try and break down the fence and release consciousness from the limitations imposed by the conditioned mind and release the potential of that human being. In our personality consciousness, the result of their efforts is so often is fear and suffering. But Saturn, as agent of the Holy Spirit understands that aspect of the evolutionary process too. It understands that the very form that is has nurtured has to be shattered to release what is contained inside. Turn Saturn around and you will see the other face, the face that is turned towards the Sun, the symbol of the soul and the veil of Uranus and Neptune. This is the face of the Comforter. It is offering understanding. To be receptive to this understanding, we have to let go of the expectation that things should be other than they are and become willing to see things as they are. It is the first stage in making intelligent choices and it is intelligent choice that will set us free.

When Saturn is in any of the four houses of Personal Consciousness it inhibits the personality’s ability to separate out and to establish itself in its own right.

In House I - a problem of assertiveness

Saturn in the first house manifests as a fear or disinclination of taking any kind of action or initiative. At the root of this mentality is a fear of failing and, like the Sorcerer’s Apprentice, of unleashing something that runs out of control. The effect of this is timorous behaviour, a reluctance to start anything or a negativity and lack of commitment that will undermine any efforts that are made.

When a first-house Saturn is turned around a person understands how the personality has to work to achieve effectiveness and recognition, justify its own separate existence and will never be lazy or casual in his or her undertakings.

my difficulty with that placement is that i always feel im not understood by others , and that others dont really see me as I am,and when i try to show Me through the normal instrument - "comunication skills"-well it seems that what i say/think it is never heard as i would like to.
Imagine a phonecall and i am the one who is speaking: the person on the other line somehow ears eveything but what i have actually said...:P

It´s as if my thoughts/expressions/comunicative skills are kept secret from the world and i am the only one who understands myself.

Venus In Gemini,

before i had my accurate birht time i didnt knew my saturn was in the 1st..now that have red the descriptions you posted,i know why HE is there.

Diandra,
Twelfth house is hard to understand. I don't have anything in my Twelfth, but in our relationship composite, we have Jupiter in the Twelfth. I am trying to understand what that will mean in the relationship.

And as I understand the Twelfth, whatever is in there is hidden? Or can be hidden. So I guess what you are saying about your Mercury there, is that your communication to others doesn't come through the way you intended. Or people don't hear what you are saying. So I guess, the meaning of your words and the thoughts you are trying to express are hidden.

My guy has both his Sun and Venus in his Twelfth. I read somewhere that the Sun can't shine in the Twelfth House. And that is the main purpose of our Sun, that is its job. So it's brightness is hidden. It's ability to shine. And with his Venus, his love is hidden, or he can't express it fully. So that would be hidden also.

I guess I really shouldn't complain about Saturn in the First House. Because whatever house it moved to, there would still be a lesson to learn. Just a different lesson.

I think first and foremost, I wish I could remove the t-square that I have in the chart: Sun (10th) - Ura (7th, apex) - Saturn (4th, 29th deg Cancer), ura rules my 11th, sat the MC and sun 5th so you can see, I have a number of areas in life that I have struggled with. Actually maybe I think I would first and foremost not have a Saturn in Cancer/4th/ anarectic. They say saturn is your archilles heel and it says that I basically don't have a heel to stand on. I hate saturn's opposition to my sun.
