Do you feel like you've been pulled through a cosmic wormhole the past few weeks?

Like you've been stretched, washed, shrunk, and dried, and now you're finally being allowed to rest a bit?

Hi Shirty. Did you figure out why you were depressed?

I realized I hadn't been facing myself or my emotions at all. I hadn't been connecting with a higher power, I had essentially turned my back on my spirituality but wasn't even aware of it.

yes!! thats exactly it!
I was so disconnected from myself that I finally hit a low where I realized where I was. I went to see an energy healer lady (I forget the name of it) who works with chakras and she basically slapped some sense into me.. I've started paying more attention to my thoughts and feelings, and making decisions from deep within, breathing deeply.

I'm glad though because the depression has brought me higher than ever.

Wow that's cool, what did she say to you?

I often feel that periods of depression are like going into a 'cocoon' which is a dark restrictive place, but when you emerge you are much better than before.

Hmmmm....... I feel like there have been a few odd events and stresses, but it has more to do with work and my landlords.

With work, I am training a new person, but I am buried in my own duties. Our Cappy Deputy Chief is the one responsible for training people but she is a slacker and the new person is a quick study (she is on the Aries / Pisces cusp, but I don't know the time of birth). I don't want her momentum to drop because of the lack of direction from the higher ups.

My other issue is my landlord from hell. They have 4 houses- one they live in, one I rent and they have put it and another one up for sale (no problem because I am moving overseas in March).

The thing is.... he has NO boundries. IN his mind, if he feels like weed-wacking at 8am, he'll do it. One day I got out of the shower and heard something at the window. He was fixing the tarp and measuring the window (which had fallen out and shattered since he put it in upside down). I was like "Oh hey... I didn't realize you were coming over today- must have missed the message".

They knew I was going to the Dallas game a couple of weeks ago so they decided to let themselves into my house while I was gone and then called me to comment about the cracked door jam (another faulty thing he installed and neglected to seal- which warped the wood and it cracked as it dried and made it extremely brittle).

I wanted to scream.. YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED IN MY DAMN HOUSE WITHOUT A 24 HOUR NOTICE.

It is creepy, because I don't know if I will have a day to putter around and do my stuff or if he's going to be lurking outside.

Emotionally and in my private life things are going very well. Bear comes home in almost 3 weeks, our plans are set for the holidays and I'll be giving notice at work the 3rd week of January. LOL...

What I have noticed though is really odd sleeping patterns. I am dead tired at night, I sleep for about 4 hours and then wake up and proceed to toss and turn until 6am- giving me only another hour to sleep...

Damn Pluto on my IC / Sun LOL.....

Oh my gosh Pidaua, I think I would flip if my Landlord was in my apartment without asking or my knowledge(can you say serious S**t fit). The landlords wife hates cats and tried to tell us we are not allowed to let our cat out, my boyfriend told her TOO BAD(because before they came it was just fine for the cat to go outside). Have you told him to only go in your house when your there?

Yay, I have tried to talk to them- but I think the 30 years or so of chronic "weed" use has finally eaten up his brain. They have really over-extended their finances with the 4 houses. I think they owe somewhere around $400,000 and they make a combined income of less than $60,000. They bought high and are now trying to sell when the market is dying - especially here with the average house being over 50 years old - mine was built in 1929 and has been added on several times.

To make matters worse, they can't even find another renter for one of the houses and they are asking $50,000 more than it is worth. Hell, they are asking $100,000 more than my house is worth AND a person has to go up 65 concrete stairs just to get to it LOL....

Well... I only have a few more weeks to endure it because then my hubby will be home. We leave together in March and I know the male landlord will be more likely to keep his distance with Bear around .

PS.......... Can I just say... My husband looked HOT in his Dress Greens for Thanksgiving yesterday. He had a colleague take pic with his camera phone before he served in the chow hall. Hmmm.... delicious. I would have a hard time concentrating on the lobster they served with him in that uniform....sexy!

hee hee.....
