If anyone has anything they want to discuss related to the 6thH, discuss them here, and how it relates back to their work. But I have a question. Does one with lunar/pisces in 6th house of aquarius cusp make one (occupation medical) not just able to treat, but heal patients superior to the average medical worker, nurse, doctor, etc.?? (consider virgo rising first decane, MC in gemini, p.fort conjunct MC)(the questions on behalf of me ) ------------------ Virgo Rising, Sagittarius Sun, Pisces Moon IP: Logged |

I've got Sun, Venus, Mars and Saturn all sitting in my 6th hs. The weird thing is, I have never found any direction as to work/career. I am drawn to health work (Not in a clinical role though) My career has just never been that important to me , and I've drifted in dead-end jobs. Which makes no sense to me, having all those plantets in 6. IP: Logged |

Yea...I don't get my 6th house. it's the hardest part of my chart for me to decipher... 6th house- Aries Mars in Aquarius Mars in the 4th house Mars square Sun, Venus, and Pluto Mars opposite Moon Mars sextile Saturn NN in 6th
...not getting anything out of that at all...I guess I always work in fast-paced environments and I'd prefer to be moving around (since I hate sitting still) and I need the freedom to work alone (if i choose) but also to work in groups...I'm my own boss though, can't stand supervisors/bosses/authority..yuck, I'm respectful (Libra Asc) but I snub them away, I work by my own set of rules, not sup is gonna change that :-P That's all I got from those placements
thats all I got... IP: Logged |

I think a pisces moon in an Aqu cusped 6th house means that there by work something of a humanitarian, scientific nature but the moon gives an emotive/empathetic quality. So maybe if someone is a doctor, the placement of moon in the 6th means that they might emotionally relate to their patients and has the empathy to care for them. I wouldn't say "heal" as such in this case, healing is more of a chironic issue I thinkIP: Logged |

I know someone who has his Sun, Moon, and Mercury in Pisces in the 6th House with an Aquarius Cusp. He's a modest guy. From what I've come to believe, work is a major part of his life. He talks about it alot. I don't think he really cares about about his social status; as long as he's getting the money.I think people with these placements are likely to be humanitarians or something. IP: Logged |

I have Taurus on the cusp of my 6th, but Venus in Gemini actually IN the 6th house. It must be the Venus that makes me NEED a nice environment to work in... maybe it's the Gemini that makes me work always in the area of communication. Although, I am drawn to wanting to work in the area of natural and/or energy healing. I wonder if this is to do with Venus? (My Venus is opposite Neptune). When I work at something I love, I work hard (the Taurus influence) but I must admit that in a boring job I procrastinate and slack off, and I would rather be on permanent holiday (maybe this is Venus opposite Neptune???) No idea about it all really... I'm rambling... Something struck me today. My bf has Uranus in his 6th house, and throughout his life employment has been sporadic! My Pluto, however, is conjunct his Uranus, and since he's met me he has very much accelerated his use of technologies in his work and realised just how useful it really is... (I read that Pluto conjunct Uranus is important in this area). IP: Logged |

I have a Stellium in the 6th.Moon and Pluto in the Scorp, and Saturn and Uranus in Cappy in the 6th. I'm in college and never really worked, but I am interested in the health fields. People have told me it always feels good when I touch them. Somehow I've learned where it feels relaxing, through my own body. My mom even says I may have healing powers, maybe I do, with my chart ruler being the moon and having moon in scorpio in the 6th. My Chiron is in gemini conjunct Venus in gemini both in the 12th. So about Uranus in the 6th, I have it at zero degrees and I'm sure that means it's at a pretty strong degree, but does it really mean I may not have a stable work environment, or continuously switch jobs in the future? I'm planning on getting into Psychology for Psychiatry and Psychotheraphy mainly for children...I do feel I need to be independent and excited about my work. Edit* My Mars is in Aquarius in the 10th, MC in Aquarius, Sun, Moon, Pluto, Mercry, Jupiter Square Mars. IP: Logged |

I have Neptune in Sag in the sixth, and I have always had a hard time in jobs I get really bored and very dreamy, and never get there on time. I also have a tendency to get involved in arguing rights etc. This is also the only mutable planet I have, I always wondered if that is significant? I would happily spend my whole day daydreaming and have a really fantasy/escapism problem in life in general. On the rare occasion I have enjoyed a job though, I can get very into it, I always put this down to Mars in Cap in the eighth, as that is meant to be quite workaholic, and I can get really nit picky about things when I'm like that. Also from what I've read Neptune in the sixth is prone to hypochondria, and I can say that is VERY true for me. Also people tend to have really opposed views about me working aswell, they either see me as really hard working or a total lazy bum! Family, friends and people who've worked wtth me, maybe it's the Libra moon?! My husband works in the science and health field and him and his co workers seem to have full sixth houses from what I've looked at. IP: Logged |

I have moon pisces in the sixth. For myself i never wanted to be in the medical field unless it was as a counselor of some sort or someone who helped people in other ways, such as reading to the blind or being an activities director at a nursing home. Nothing too hands on.My forte is actually customer service. I never looked at serving the public as a chore or lowly because when I'm not working I am part of the public and would like to be treated well weather I'm shopping at a high end botique or one of the marts. ------------------ Sun Virgo, moon Pisces, Libra rising, mercury venus 12th house all conjunct, Mars Leo. Hi Neptune! A friend of mine once described the 6th house (and 10th house) with a cool analogy: 6th house is like the waitress who is working hard everyday (6th house)because she is aspiring to become an actress (10th house career). So the 6th is what we do as a routine each day which can be work/service oriented. But the 10th house is what we really want to become out in the wide world, i.e. our "labor of love". Here's my intuition on your question. Please take this with a grain of salt as I am more of an intuitive interpreter rather than a disector of aspects (yes, despite my Mercury in Virgo hehe)... You said: Q. "Does one with lunar/pisces in 6th house of aquarius cusp make one (occupation medical) not just able to treat, but heal patients superior to the average medical worker, nurse, doctor, etc.?? (consider virgo rising first decane, MC in gemini, p.fort conjunct MC)" A. Moon in Pisces is a lovely dreamy and sensitive moon to have. This in the 6th probably makes you sensitive, or even touchy, about what you do in your day to day routines/service for others. You want to put your heart into 'it' (whatever 'it' is). Your intuition about what you should be doing is probably pretty darn good. If you think about things too much is where you can get confused (Pisces energy in the 6th can make one confused on what to do. Just go with the flow). Certainly Moon in the 6th would make one intuitive in detecting if someone needed healing. Being 'superior' just in the sense that you would be healing the total person, not just looking to treat symptoms, and this may be due to being able to detect through your strong intuitive emotions on who needs what and when. But, having Pisces on the cusp of the 7th may make this Moon energy manifest in 7th house matters (i.e. relationships) just as much, if not more than it would in the 6th! Aqua on the 6th cusp might mean that you like to be unique in what you do day-to-day. Do you maybe have an unusual hobby? Maybe you like to help heal people is different and innovative ways? Maybe it's something more to do with your fashion interests... Perhaps you enjoy making unusual outfit choices (haute couture-ish) for yourself and friends? Gem MC conj PF again might show an interest in fashion or talking type of healing (psychology?) Gem MC would be good at anything they wanted to do. It's just that they have so many interests it may be tough to figure out which one to stick with! PF there will give you good luck in whatever you choose though. You can do at least 2 different careers at once with this line up for sure. I.E. office type job and a hobby on the side, both of which can bring you income. Hope that gives you a little bit of a different perspective. ------------------ `Who are you?' said the Caterpillar. This was not an encouraging opening for a conversation. I have Scorpio on my 6th house cusp.Neptune in Sagi in the 6th. Pluto (my 6th house cusp ruler) is in Libra in the 4th exactly sextile Neptune in Sagi in the 6th. MC Pisces exactly square my Neptune in Sagi in the 6th. I am typically confused on what I want to do 'when I grow up'. For now I'm in a pretty Scorpionic (hehe is that a real word?) job - insurance. I do make time every single day to let my head go into the clouds and daydream and go to my fantasy world, otherwise i'd blow a fuse and go insane. That's why I read & post here too, to escape from normal reality into a nice astrological alternate reality...here. I also do free-lance make-up, which also is an income for me (small for now, but we'll see what happens with it). But most important, it is my art, so I will do this whether I get paid or not because I love it. I feel as if I am channeling when i'm 'painting on humans'. Another thing that I love (10th cusp Pisces, 6th cusp Scorpio) is working with people to help in their 'ascention' or whatever you wanna call it. I do this by talking with them and sharing what i've learned on my path and mostly by helping them re-member why they're here. Kinda like i'm adding my fuel to their fire kind of thing (N Node in Scorpio in the 5th). It's a mutual exchange for sure. I share works of literature, stories that have been told to me, e.mails, quotes, etc. I love passing on information as a stimulus for the mind. I do this daily and it's a part of my Neptunian daily escapism hehe. Neptune in the 6th also might explain my love of fantasy movies, i.e. Labrynth, LotR, Legend, on and on. Plus I also love fantasy PC video games like World of Warcraft, EQ, Neverwinter Nights, and I am gonna be Beta testing LotR on line starting Thurs, yay! I think this type of thing is just a small part of my 6th housed Neptune. Ok, cya guys later ------------------ `Who are you?' said the Caterpillar. hi thereI've got Scorpio on the 6th cusp with : Neptune, Venus, Jupiter in there - both venus and neptune oppose saturn in taurus in the 12th. Mars and pluto in virgo in the 5th. Working in spiritual areas is definately where i should be (i've always known that too) - it's just the getting there bit! I'm definately a bit of a workaholic once i get in my stride - and very much a giver too which seems to fit the stellium in the 6th. Understanding that whole 6th/12th axis is something i'm still trying to work on and bring into my life. cheers

You can also advance to the top through being diligent, going out on a quest and sending others on quests, taking a maverick approach to some important work, or acting in an advisory capacity. You need to be useful on own terms. Suitable work may include body work, chiropractic care, massage, herbs, astrology, or any of the ancient traditions which are making a come back under the banner of "New Age". IP: Logged | |
