Signs that are exalted, praised, but do very little in interest of the common man and fellow neighbor are Leo, Libra, Aries, Scorpio, Taurus

Signs that are given little to none importance compared to the other signs are Capricorn, Pisces, Sagittarius, and maybe Gemini,

why is it this way, and does anyone feel that our values need to change?

I think ANY combination of sun, moon, and ascendant has the potential to be strikingly beautiful. The ascendant does dictate some physical tendencies, but these are VERY general. Just because a person has a pisces ascendant and happens to have full lips does NOT mean that everything else will be beautiful. Same goes for a Leo ascendant with a thick head of hair, or a Libra ascendant with dimples...he may have dimples but his teeth could be jacked up, he could be covered in freckles and one eye may seem lower than the other. Who knows?

Some girls may say they like men with Italian accents where as others might like the quiet types. Its all in personal preference.

I have just generally noticed that guys with Libra Suns tend to be a bit cute. It doesn't mean that other signs lack beauty.

You have aspects that some people don't have, and I have positions and aspects that you sure don't have. So everyone levels each other out, people live and let learn, it be nice if you learned to do the same and stop trying to assume for personal benefit.

Sun - Sag (Conjunct Venus in Sag)
Moon - Aries (Trines Sun and Venus)
Rising - Virgo (and I have a tight Pluto conjunction within 1.5 Degrees).

Seems to me like youre just ****** cuz so far most ppl are disagreeing with you OR just saying that they feel it is in the eye of the beholder..

For this reason and others, a chart does not guarantee beauty.

Personally I don’t think Angelina Jolie is pretty - her look is way too masculine for me to consider her pretty. I’d say she’s more handsome or odd looking beautiful. Still think she’s great tho.

Jessica Alba is totally over rated - I just don’t see what others see. I can name at least 10 girls prettier than her easily. Not to say she isn’t pretty.

Libra ascendants are SO overrated it’s ridiculous. It definitely gives them charm, but no way supernatural beauty. Same with charts that are full of air - Alicia keys has that, and she aint no beauty to me

It comes down to opinion.

I think they are overrated. And I'm a frikkin Libra rising.. WHOA IMAGINE THAT?!

Astrology is a science to me. However, it's not something I completely base my opinions and decisions on.

An Ascendant placement for me does not color my idea about myself. It does not raise my self-esteem.

EXACTLY...Not to diss astrology or anything. But you definitely can't say "Oh she's so beautiful, must be because of her Libra rising" (I'm not directing this towards anyone, just making an example.) And beauty definitely is in the eye of the beholder. I think Scorpio risings are sexyyyyy.

I certainly don't think that having a libran/sag asc or sun etc will get the ears of the fellow member. I have a lib moon and I think I get a relatively few number of people ever responding to my posts.

Also I know a few lib asc and wouldn't say that are particularly attractive but as others have said, its all about taste. For example, there are a lot of famous people out there that are considered highly attractive by the public and I think they are ugly - all a matter of taste. Otherwise, the asc might add something to the perception of the others but it seems to me that the sun sign tends to have the most bearing on looks, then some minor influences of asc, 1st house planets and venus. But at the end of days, its probably just genetics and you tend to have the blended characteristics of your parents with a bit of astro-tweeking.

And secondly, i have a strong belief its productive for others to disagree with you, because you experience growth, because you take in information from all different sides.

I read what you wrote, 3 times to be exact, and actually for you to say "beauty is in the eye of tbe beholder" and then make a joke like that which totally contradicted your pervious statements, and to totally flip out when you didn't think someone with human nature wasn't going to mix match your words, was kind of wrong on your part.

And I am wrong for mixmatching your statements, but also when I read words, you put "semi-kidding", not just kidding or such a joke or something that indicated it was a full complete joke, "semi" literally means half joke. Thats why my literal interpretation of your words was not what you meant it to be.

I really think that so much tension would really be unnecessary if people would attentively listen to themselves as well as others.
