Overall, i love my ceres , its the only thing i have to give "color" to my 2nd house.

(its in aspect to my mars which is conj. my MC conj p.fort, and my venus which is apart of my stellium in my IC)

I actually think Ceres is pretty important. It always makes sense to me in the chart. Two guys I got close to, both had Ceres/Saturn in bad aspect. One had the opposition, the other had the square. They have something in common: zero nurturing growing up and zero ability to nurture others.

One of them has Saturn fairly well aspected, trining his Sun, and yet he had many problems with his father being overly authoritative and cold. Despite his water sun and moon he was extremely restrictive with himself and others to the point where he’d visibly cringe at displays of affection.. unless they came in some sort of well set out format (how Saturnian is that)..
Negative Ceres/Saturn with this guy in particular felt sort of like “there is a specific time and place when it’s appropriate to be affectionate”. Any emotion beyond this time and place should not exist and if it does the people involved should be “corrected”.. its almost like “the emotion Nazi”.

I've always felt nurtured and vice versa. I like nurturing people. Once I warm up to a person I’m very affectionate. Maybe that's why I attract these guys I have a tendency to feel really sorry for people who seem unable to give/receive affection. But I’ve learnt my lesson with that lol Can’t help someone who won’t help themselves.

My Ceres is in Virgo, conjunct IC.
Ceres sextile AC 2'
Ceres trine Venus 2'
Ceres trine Mars 0'
Ceres trine Neptune 3'

Ceres in Sagittarius, 2nd house

Only two aspects: trine chiron and sextile moon

Too new to know what that means...Ceres sounds like something I'd eat for breakfast

Singing - you're on the right track, it is about how you'd provide motherly nourishment, it kind of acts as a mini-moon

Ceres is Conjunct my Ascendant
by less than a degree.

I've heard "unconditional love"
is one of the interpretations,
and I do love people unconditionally
(at least, in theory).

The only other aspect in my chart
which might explain this is Venus/Uranus.

I am also very mothering and nurturing,
but that can be explained by my 1st house Moon.

That's interesting HSC...the unconditional love thing.

I have Ceres conjunct Uranus and Ascendant but on the 12th house side and they oppose my Venus as well. Also have sextile of Ceres and my Cancer Moon. Hmmm, it makes a perfect square to my MC/IC.

I'm not able to interpret well, but I love to read all the other interpretations people share. Helps me integrate this stuff little by little.

Can Ceres also be rejection of nurturing..?

I ask because I know I can be nurturing...I can feel that I have the capability to..but I just don't like it. It makes me uncomfortable and so I don't do it often. It mean, with some people, it shows more than others...but it takes me extremely long to get to that point..

I wonder if my Moon aspects play a part in this too...since I definitely have hard aspects to it..

My Ceres is in Aquarius in the 12th House. It makes only two connections (trine Venus and quintile Uranus)

I found the following interpretation on Venus trine Ceres on the internet:

"You love nature and all growing things, and are an excellent care giver and nurturer. You enjoy feed-ing people, creatures and plants, are probably a wonderful cook and gardener. You are gracious in giving, supportive of growth, but may find separation very difficult. Your bonds with loved ones tend to be very strong and deep."

There's some truth in it ... I really do like nature and plants, in fact, I have many plants in my room and I love flowers. And I think I am a pretty good cook (at least nobody has died of food-poisoning yet ). And I bond with the people I love on a very deep level.

My ceres conjuncts my mars in aries and squares my saturn. Zero ability to nuture? Don't know about that but what I didn't get from my father I got plenty of from my mother.

Ceres also square my chiron, trines my sun, sextiles my jupiter and so on.

My Ceres is in Libra. It forms a sextile with my Jupiter in Leo and Sun/Venus in Sagittarius. I personally like my Ceres placement
