I had a chance to glace over Linda's "Love Signs" and there is no doubt in mymind whatsoever that she is a brilliant writer. She has this unique gift of vividly painting a picture of humourous senerios and serene moments in such a coherent way that even your regular bookaphobe would give in and strat reading with interest.However... Generally speaking, Linda's views on Libra guys leaves me at a skeptical view point. Its as if the very preception of a Libra male falls under the category of the "girly" stereotype Lol! Many precieve Librans to be sensitive pushovers. Far from it. Quite many Librans I know (including myself ) will defend our view point till the ends of the world and being rude isn't out of question either. Apart from that, Linda seems to view Librans as more emotional in rleationships and a lot less physical. Again, I disagree. maybe its a particualr ascender that rules the possibility of indept emotional attachment but Librans can play it physcial (sometimes, more so than others .) Maybe Linda's descrption of Libras is a tad too general in Love Signs. Any views? IP: Logged |

I certainly agree that Libran males are not pushovers, they can argue points from both sides but when they make up their mind, they can be a force to reckon with. I think the "girliness" comes from the fact that they are however quite diplomatic and polite (esp in front of women), the ones that I know for example do not tolerate bad language from girls and expect them to act ladylike and treat you accordingly, but in the backrooms with boys, they swear ferociously! All the above is what I have seen with my own eyes and heard with my own ears! IP: Logged |

Lol! Gotta say, the swearing part and the diplomacy, I do agree with . However, I don't see that as a weakness; Its just a Libra convaying the message across though a medium of comfort that his/her listener understands . Guys are guys and some girls can act quite guy like themselves Lol! It kinda seems illogical (Lol! @ Illogical; Can you tell I am Libra yet? )to talk to such a crowd in a passive sense. You try to relate to them on their own ground.IP: Logged |

Linda also said that "Libra can make Taurus the Bull look like a gullible pushover".... IP: Logged |

I have yet to read a few of her other books so I am kinda in the dark about her other quotations Lol!Though her style of writing is simply magical. It has that Raspberry type intellectual humor embedded in it. IP: Logged |

I actually agree. A close friend of mine is a Libra (moon in Taurus) and hes not girly at all. Though very friendly and flirty. Speaking of, Eminem is a Libra. I doubt anyone would call him girly. Though LOL @illogical i use that myself all the time, (Libra ASC) ------------------ Sun-Gemini Moon-Scorpio ASC-Libra IP: Logged |

I can see both view points when it concerns Libra Males. In debating they are by no means pushovers, on everything else.....I can't say the same. I will watch my male Libran friend agree to do a favor for someone then ***** about having to do the task the entire time. I never understood why he wouldn't say "No" if he didn't want to do it. Then I realized that he always wanted to come off as the "Nice Guy".IP: Logged |
