Got any ideas on this?

If there was A with a t-square and B has a planet that hooks into the t-square to form a grand cross, is that a good thing?!

Doubt it.
It activates your T-cross and makes you act like it. Also brings issues regarding the T-cross houses. Grand crosses are bad for relationships. Besides, the point opposing the apex should have been your releasing point for your tension, but if one of his planets is there you might feel trapped.
How is the composite and the Davison chart? I have a beautiful synastry chart with one of my friends, but a grand cross and several T-squares in the Davison chart (we were never together).

Thanks for response.

Found this on a website: http://users.netonecom.net/~sos/Synastry.htm

" I have been fortunate in my practice to have had the opportunity to work with "astrological twins". Their charts have no planets in earth signs and a cardinal t-square involving 6 planets. One of them is married to a woman with Moon/Jupiter/Ascendant in Capricorn; the other was involved with a woman with Sun/Jupiter/Venus in Capricorn. Their strong t-squares attracted the missing element of a grand cross. Talk about wholeness!"

According to this site, a composite GC is no good:
http://www.elsaelsa.com/archives/2006/04/03/astrology-of-relationships-synastry-vs-composite-charts-mars-square-mars-grand-crosses-and-other-frights/

For example when we would go out somewhere together, in essence we would be this train wreck chart, personified and up walking around. Do you see what I mean?

Think of the couples you know. This couple is “fun”. This other couple is “unhappy”. This third couple is…very nervous and jerky, or whatever. And the energy of the couple is different than the energy of either of the individuals, right? If you talk to her, when she’s not with him she’s much different. Or vice versa. But anyway, I am talking about a composite chart with a Grand Cross and here is what I noticed:

Wherever we went, and whoever we ran into, they would only interact with one or the other of us. Um…we would encounter someone and they would look at him, then back at me, then back at him, then back at me…eventually settling on one of us and addressing them, exclusively. It was as if people just couldn’t relate to us as a couple – the energy we created was just too frenetic.

Wow, I think they're right and the other one's planet just completes you... I never had that experience but it would be nice to experiment it

aah~~ Grand Cross.. 4 planets working against each other, with oppositions and squares, without anywere to release the tension (as T-squares has an empty leg..).. sounds scary.. >_<;

Well, I guess that not every relationship is easy, but if you love the other person enough to think that it's worth to try to cope with the hardness and to learn how to maintain this important relationship, why not? ^_^ Free will is more powerful, as astrology just shows the potential..
But well, I guess that hard aspects in synastry are easier to deal, as people can adjust to each other and learn with each other even if the personalities and etc. has lotsa differences, whereas in a composite, it shows the relationship itself, and having things difficult to work together is just harder..

In my case, I have a synastry with 2 T-squares and not much personal planets contacts T_T but a nice composite (with a t-square also, but with smooth planets such as Moon, Jupiter and Mars/Venus conjunction) with my bf.. The good feelings when we are together and in this relationship helped us to be more able to adjust and learn together.. ^_^;

hey guys..
when looking at grand crosses, is the orb taken into account, or just the signs?
