It has taken me a while to pluck up courage to post asking for help here. But if you can give any advice I would be so grateful, I do not have enough experience to read charts in great detail, although I have loved astrology since I was very young.

I left England last year to come and live in California, as my husband had got a job here. I found it difficult to adapt and missed home terribly. Because of various complications I couldn't work and we were completely broke. We argued a lot, and I was alone all the time, as I know nobody here. My husband is very ambitious and a workaholic, and very unemotional.

A few nights ago he ended our marriage as he said he doesn't love me anymore. I have suspected he was having an affair with one of his collegues, but have been unable to find conclusive proof.

I am flying home in two weeks, I am terrified of flying, and have to do it on my own. I have no job or money to go back too, and I will be staying with my friends mother, as I have a very troubled and disfunctional family and can't go to them. I feel completely destroyed as I'm sure you would all imagine. I am very terrified of all that's before me. This has happened to me before in my last long term relationship and I feel very disheartened about life.

I would be so grateful if any of you could take a look at my chart and give me any advice about what sort of jobs you think I could be suited to/anything you can see that would indicate how I can avoid this happening to me again/and any other advice/interpretation about my chart.

I would also just like to say that I have passed so many hours reading this site and learning more and more about astrology from you all. I have been so lonely for the past year, and it has helped to come here.

Thank-you

Also I know this sounds stupid and a bit bizzare but I have real problem with hypochondria so could you please not mention anything to do with physical health that you see in my chart as it would be to much for me right now. Mental health is fine, as I have been treated for such things on and off for years.

I also would be interested to know about transits/progressions etc as I do not know how to interpret them.

Sorry to write such a depressing topic, and I can't believe I am writing such personal things, but I am so desperate and haven't had a real conversation with anyone(apart from my husband)face to face in over a year.

Thank-you again.

from what i see:

midheaven sign pisces: artistic work, compassionate work, dance, drama, taking care of those less fortunate. its ruler neptune is in the 6th. the hypochondria prob comes from this placement, ha and with neptune its definitely a sign of your imagination going out of control. if you direct it to something creative youll likely be plagued much less by that affliction. with this combo i see nursing work, an aide in a hospital, or doctor i suppose and with neptune being strong to your career look at alternative methods of healing -- something that stands a bit away from "Traditional" medicine as that would prob not be in tune with your dreamy nature.

pisces midheaven trine uranus square neptune: the strong trine indicates showcasing your immensely unique creative efforts [uranus in the 5th] and also the square indicates the apparent indecision that been on your shoulders regarding career [neptune makes things cloudy].

again at the midheaven, you have venus in the 10th in aries [another indicator of strong artistry in the career, this time it involves tho forging out on your own in an entrepreneurial [sp?] way (aries)].

cancer asc ruled by moon in libra in the 4th: interior design/decoration perhaps? beautifying the home in some way. women/mothers [moon/4th] and beauty [libra] -- running a svc out of your home tending to helping women improve their appearance. either way the idea of being at home and being and at work simultaneously rings out for me with this combo, as well as working with the way things/people "look" [libra].

so from my p.o.v.: creative + service + health + home + women/mothers + beauty + entrepreneur = working from home or close to home running some type of alternative healing svc that benefits women. maybe something that markets to pregnant women specifically? i dunno there are other possible combos. write back if anything i wrote made sense

oh and youre MUCH MORE likely to die in a car accident than on a plane, that goes for everyone. take care

Thank-you so much for that!
I wish I could see charts like that, I can't seem to get the flow of everything together.

Yes I have read before about nursing/caring work from the pisces midheaven, but it's never got me burning so to speak. If anything I've often thought it's the libra/venus part of me that's horrified of hospitals.

I have actually always been drawn to more libran occupations. I worked in a library for years, and loved it, but got very worn out from the customer service aspect. I was also very involved in trade unions and got immense satisfaction from that, I even wanted to be a lawyer at one point in my life. I have also been involved in acting and was on the right path(my dream was always to be an actor/perfomer)but dropped out as I couldn't cope with stage fright.

To be honest my life direction has always been very neptune like, give up on things, won't aim to high, feel trapped in jobs etc. I have always talked the good talk, I am very imaginative/daydreamy, write poetry etc but have always lacked self discipline, drive and confidence.
I wondered if it was a connection with my saturn in leo oppossed my sun? From what I understand it's a constant critical voice? and a connection to my father, which would figure as he did that, and lived his life in the same manner, very escapist.

I just noticed that your Venus is unaspected, apparently meaning that its very strong energy. Tim [wilsontc] is excellent at looking at charts, hopefully he'll see this thread.

yea saturn in leo traditionally wasnt paid much attention to as a child and so has a complex regarding attention/recognition: they want it so badly but theyre afraid to go for it. did your father not pay much attention to you? you dont have to answer on here but to yourself: break ties, the past is gone and he;s not living your life -- YOU ARE. break free of the brainwashing and just plain --go for it-- your Venus in aries's confidence and pride should help to move you along.

Wishing you well,
Arn

Allegra,

You said:

Since you have 7 planets focused on the "Others" side of your chart, you tend to work with and through others. This suggests that your best chances at employment is through referrals or contacts with others. Go to job "mixers" and get to know the people there. Explain what your work background is and why you are looking for a job. People will help you if you let them.

Since your Moon (home) conujunct (energy is combined with) Pluto (transformation, also power) is focused in your 4th house (home), it is possible that "coming home" will re-power you in your life. This home focus is even stronger, since there is an Easy Opposition focused on the Moon-Pluto conjunction.

This situation seems to be an indication of your Saturn return, the time when Saturn returns to the place it was at your birth. This is a time for becoming an "adult", growing up and facing the challenges of life. If a person has faced their challenges all along in their life, the Saturn return can be easy. If, however, they have not faced these challenges, the Saturn return can "test" the person. Since your Saturn is focused in the 2nd house (physical, also values, money), you are facing tests of your own values: what do you value in your life, why, what will you do to get what you value in life? This directly relates to money and issues of getting money. How much money do you want? How will you get this money?

Since your North node (future goals) is focused in the 5th house (self-expression), you may want to have some type of career that gets you recognition of some type. Since there is a T-square between the Nodes focused on Capricorn (duty, also career) modifying Mars (being, also action) conjunct (energy is combined with) Mercury (thinking/daily work) focused in the 7th house (relationships), it is possible that a job that involves some type of active thinking/negotiating with others will interest you.

Keep your eyes open, your spirits up, and your ear to the ground...and everything should be fine in the long run!

Being "upbeat,"

Tim

Thank you for all that!
I was thinking about the saturn return, and I think that is very accurate about needing to sort out money etc. I have always had a tendency to make a relationship my life, so to speak and not focus on any career. When I'm in a relationship I tend to let that all slide, this is one of the reasons my marriage has broken up. So that is very interesting.
I liked your pluto/power in the home thing, I had always read bad things to do with pluto conj moon, it's nice to think I might feel stronger back home.
Thank-you

Hi Allegra ~ Sending you Love, Light & Strength!

You and I have some interesting correlaions in out charts. You're only 4months younger than me. This past year we've gone through our Saturn Returns, yours @ 12*Leo and mine @ 14* Leo, both in the 2nd house. This time is a huge turning point for all humans and it just so happens to be our turn right now! Now that Saturn is moving retrograde again it's almost like the lessons of this transit are being activated again for us to work on. Saturn in Leo in the 2nd is a lot about self-worth and ego stuff, and also financial security. You have Saturn opposite Sun & I have Saturn opposite Moon. My Sun is conjunct your Moon & Your Sun is conjunct my Moon. That's really cool, I think we could probably relate with each other pretty well.

I need to leave work now, but I will check in later, as soon as I can. All IS Well even if this dimention's illusion is so convincing otherwise!!

Hexxie, thank-you. Have you had a hard time with the return too? I copied your Alice in Wonderland signature once to try and show my husband how I felt as a human! Isn't that strange, no wonder I identified so much!!

Here is husbands data. I figured all the Sag activity(transits) is hitting him hard as he has(I think)a sag stellium in his fifth house.

Second house ruled by Can - moon in lib/4th
6th house ruled by sag - jupiter in tau/11th
MC ruled by Pisces - Neptune in Sag 6th

Obviously your MC is strongly connected to the 6th house with Nep placed there, so your vocation in life is one of service and with your MC in pisces and nep in the 6th it is of maybe a spiritual quality that involves compassion. Nep sextiles both your sun and moon and whatever you will do will involve positively bringing your self (sun) and emotions (moon) into your profession. Likewise with jup, the ruler of your 6th. Don't be scared of the squ between sun and jup, it probably adds a self-confidence about you and its trine to mercury adds an intellectual component as to your vocation. As to your second, you value cancerian things, maybe security, nurturing, domesticity etc and this is highlighted by the moons position in the 4th and in libra. However it also indicates maybe with the connection to the other things a bringing of a very personal self to your vocation. Your moon is very well aspected and being in libra might give you some emotional balance. For some reason, I can very much see you maybe as a social worker or counsellor or nurse or maybe some sort of mentor/teacher, this is where the moons balance might help. As mentioned by Tim, the focus of most of the planets is on the western sde of the chart so you are people focused rather than focused on youself. It is also interesting to see that neptune conjuncts your sun-moon midpoint giving you compassion (I also have this too!). Mars also in capricorn is also exalted and in the 8th and would be able to give you the ability to see through issues perplexing people (also this is probably highlighted by moon-pluto conj and probably the cause of "emotionality" that you mention on the other post) and having jupiter in the 11th means that you are also good with dealing with community.

Hope that helps and sorry to hear about what has happened
As Tim said, you are or might be going through Saturn return. Maybe this is what is happening to you and giving you a chance to re-evaluate life.

Is interesting to also see the duplication of your 1st and 7th houses - there is obviously issues that you have to deal with here. Maybe a balance between yourself and others.

Also you have an interception of the 5th and 11th houses:

I think in relation to hubby, he needs a lot of space with all that sag energy in him. Ven sex ura might also contribute to this as well. I'd say he got you on the basis of his mars falling in your 5th and mars-venus trine. All this sag stuff happening at the moment as you say is falling in his fifth so I think I know what that means (and which you kind of alluded to)....at the least, he would be partying.

Most of his planets would fall in your 6th, which is good for dealing with mundane things but its not the most romantic house. Otherwise, his saturn falling in your 12th house doesn't seem nice. His ura also sits in your 4th so there was always going to be a bit of ground moving at home.

I should also note that you will be going through t-sat opp n-sun until June next year, so you might be feeling a little low until then. However after that it seems that you are going to have a number of jupiter transits that all look very good so you mood should pick up as well as work with it going through your 6th!

How are you doing now Allegra? I hope that you are beginning your healing process already. You can see the basic outline of what you have to do and that's at least a positive; better than not knowing anything at all. Being terrified is ok as long as you keep moving through it however slowly & steadily. Baby steps. "Little by little, one travels far." -- J. R. R. Tolkien

More interesting correlations...
I also have a MC11*Pisces. Neptune in Sagi in the 6th house too. This makes us a bit confused on what we should be when we grow up.

What do you like to do? You can now start a new adventure! It should be something that allows you to escape into your own fantasy world of imagination a few times a day. For example, I'm in Insurance (8th house Moon), but I am able to check in here on this Astrology board during the day from time to time which satisfies my need for escapism hehe. I also am a free-lance make-up artist. This vibes well with my Libra Sun & Pisces MC as well. So you, with your:
9th house Aqua Sun,
Pisces MC
Libra Moon conj Pluto (Moon/Pluto quincunx MC)
6th house cusp Sagi...
Something that allows you to help people, and even better yet, help transform people in some meaningful way. Perhaps you are going through such a tough emotional time right now so that you can earn the 'tools' to help other people through the same kind of thing?! With tUranus in Pisces on our MC right now is a fabulous and opportunistic time to start a new job!

Just keep putting it out there that you are looking for work and that you need divine inspiration on what you should do and things will come forward at the perfect time.

Keep in touch, let us know how yer doin.

Um, Allegra, remember the word Alimony, and our good ole state of California is the best place to get it! The woman always wins!

So, maybe you should look into that as well.

Alimony!!!! I'm afraid I'm going back to England and I don't think Cali law will apply. He is being resonable in most ways and trying to help with CV/money. Unfortunetly it's in a few years he'll have money not now. Oh well, never attracted money anyway!
Things are going well on practical side, physcially I'm a bit rough, emotionally it goes up and down. I am definately thinking about the whole job thing though, need to get something in the short term than try and reach a decision(not a strong point). Just can never settle on one thing long enough.

23, the interception/other thingy was really interesting I had never seen that before. I believe it is a saturn return issue because of the connection to earning money which was an issue in our marriage. Thank you for the thought that I could have some better luck in June.

...and yes 6th house synasty, you're right. Romance and lack of was always an issue. My friends in England are being fantastic and that is really helping things.
