My boyfriend and I have Venus Conjunct Pluto in our synastry chart and he has this as a natal aspect. Does this mean he will be able to handle the intensity easily?

I've had this aspect with many people before and I've been both Pluto and Venus.

Having it natally and in synastry makes it strong, and yes it makes it so he is used to the intensity(he's familiar with Pluto vibe). I also have this with my current boyfriend and it real adds spices to all the other things we have in our synastry chart.

------------------
Sun in Libra
Moon in Cancer
Jupiter in Cancer
Venus in Virgo
Mars in Cancer
Ascendant in Cancer

I "FEEL" therefor I am

First, let me start off by saying that you and I have very similar placements: I am also born on the Gem-Cancer cusp and I have a Cancer Ascendant, Mercury in Gemini and a Taurus Moon.

I am also dating a Scorpio who has a natal Venus conjunct Pluto and we too have that aspect in our synastry. In the past I dated a different Scorpio who did not have the Venus/Pluto conjunction in his natal although we did have it in our synastry as well and there is a difference in how someone with it in their natal chart handles the energy I think.

So, from both experiences I have to agree that the intensity and desire to bond is there like crazy when you have it in your synastry but it is much easier to handle if the person has it in their natal chart because they are so familiar with the energy.

It's like intensity without the all-consuming obsession, or maybe feelings of obsession but with the ability to put those feelings into perspective...?

I should also say that I am always the Pluto person and the man is always the Venus person so I only have experienced it from one perspective.

Love

Yup. I have Venus conjunct Pluto natally and my Venus is conjunct my boyfriend's Pluto.... it's definitely intense at times, but I've never felt obsessive....probably because I know how to handle the Pluto energy.

I'm kinda excited to see how this plays out, lol.

I have venus parallel pluto,
but he has (venus conjunct pluto conjunct sun) sextile (mars conjunct neptune), and somehow these conjunct and sextile my outer planets, and loosely conjunct my inner planets.

Most of the time, we have no clue what is going on, lol. But the intensity is definitely there. Too much, in fact.

Yes my love calls me like 5,000 times a day.

When we are together we kind of forget everyone's there and can't keep our hands off eachother!

What about if you and the guy have Venus and Pluto sextile each other by sign instead of conjunct. Will the relationship still be as intense?Or will it be lighter than the conjunction?Does anyone know?

Hey Cha, I think it definitely wouldn't be as intense as the conjunction, but that's just like Venus conjunct, square, and opposite Mars is considered to be more intense then Venus sextile or trine Mars. But, with any Venus/Pluto aspect, there's always a potential for passion.

Just decided to answer Cha..even though its late. But I think the answer is that sextile=potential. The energy is there but not as apparent or as say..Venus in hard aspect to Pluto. You both kinda have to "work" to bring out that passion/intensity in the relationship whereas with the hard aspects, the passion/intensity is very obvious and noticeable. And plus the energies (with the sextile) are insync with eachother and therefore easier to deal with when "awoken".
