Oh goodness, I can completely relate. For me it's been worst in terms of relationships... I always run to check synastry and composite charts before I get involved with anyone, and even so, I've not had a successful love life (and have also passed up opportunities with wonderful people because of it).Astrology is a limited tool. I think it works best when used to understand obstacles you're already facing, rather than used predictively or to make important decisions. Intuition and gut feelings, even pure logic, should take precedence over what the stars say (in my opinion at least). Departing from astrology is a difficult choice, especially if it's been a large part of your life... but it is also necessary sometimes, in order to start living fullly. I wish you luck on the next chapter of your life. IP: Logged |

Good luck in your path... I know myself how much it can take over. I am trying to disconnect myself from astrology yet again... I feel like it's taken over my life for the thousandth time. If I can use it as a psychological tool every so often but not as a doom-and-gloom predictor, then I'll be happy. Astrology has been one of passions since I was a teenager (and I'm now in my early 30's, so it's been half my life!), so it is hard to let go. I notice quite a few people on the forum are going through this lately too.IP: Logged | |
