The Water element!
I was looking at my chart last night and I notice I lack the water element. I only have four water placements, and they ALL fall in my houses, not in any of the planets!

That just means that the main focus of growth for this lifetime is on something other than feelings and needs.

Mine would be earth - but it's a singleton...hmmm so maybe not

Rev Alice, what do you mean exactly? The two dominate elements in my chart are Fire & Air ( 7 placements for each!)

Fire is spiritual--of the heart.
Earth is physical--embodiment.
Air is space, as related to the senses, communication, and mentality.
Water is feelings, feelings are "the mind of the body", designed to make us aware of needs.

With Air and Fire emphasis, you are working on "personal and spiritual growth"--especially on the desire or "call" to raise/expand your consciousness/awareness.

This is particularly true, if the mutable signs are emphasized as Mutable equals Consciousness.

It is true about the fire/air emphasis as that is why I am a member here and also have a deep interest in astrology and spiritual issues ( not necessarily religion).

It might depend on a lot of factors in the chart. I lack fire in my chart, I have Saturn in the 1st so developing a sense of self and learning to assert myself are lessons for me. (which is a fire/aries like energy).
