It's going to be the same deal. It's not like it'll be two distinct interpretations. The energy of that conjunction will be on the north end of the axis, that's all. Most astrtologers only look at teh SN will something conjuncts. Otherwise it's an aspect to your NN. That's because the NN-SN axis runs south to north, since south represents past and north the furture. ANd time only moves one way. So unless it's a conjunction to the SN - a sort of "reliving" of the past effect - aspects move forward, as time does. And that means toward the NN. IP: Logged |

Hello lovegoblin,Ascendant-Descendant is on one axis.
Ascendant is supposed to tell how someone absorbs the world around him/her and how someone strikes an attitude to that world.
Descendant is supposed to tell how someone absorbs another person and how someone strikes an attitude to another person.
North node symbolizes the path your soul needs to follow coming from the south node.
North node forces you to balance something you already know with something you don't know yet.
So if your nn conjuncts his ascendant, the way he absorbs the world/strikes an attitude to that world is in harmony with your soulpath. So his ascendant symbolizes the new thing you need to learn. The way he absorbs another person/strikes an attitude to another person, is the thing you already know (soulwise).
That's why especially you (because of your nn) will feel connected with him. He will feel less strongly connected with you. Maybe he has something too in his chart that shows a same kind of connection. If you already integrated/understood the lesson of your nn-sn, you won't have a problem with the way he wants to show himself to the world.
