Anyone wanna guess at his rising sign? I'm baffled honestly:

His data: March 27, 1963, Knoxville, TN

He's an Aries-Taurus, and he's got:

- Sun conjunct Merc in early degrees of Aries
- Venus wide conjunct Saturn in late degrees of Aqua
- Mars in early degrees of Leo
- Uranus and Pluto in Virgo
- Neptune in Scoprio
- Jupiter in late degrees of Pisces
- NN in late degrees of Cancer

He has very few major aspects in his chart:

- His mars trines Sun, Merc, and Leo.
- His moon trines Uranus and Pluto
- His Pluto sextiles Neptune

*** He may have a moon opposition with Neptune if he was born late enough in the day, otherwise he has no big squares or oppositions.

If your seeing Scorpish trraits, what do you think about Virgo rising, with Pluto conjunct ASC? Sometimes that gives people Scorpish appearneces.

Scorp rising would put his Neptune near the ASC, and his Neptune in either the 1H or 12H. He doesn't seem that Neptunian to me.

His attention to detail is pretty sick... the Apple cigarettes, the foot shots, the way the blood is supposed to spout (in spritzes), even the amount of dirt that he dusts onto Uma has to be perfect... He is verrrrry specific about the allusions he makes (Bruce Lee's motorcycle outfit), and the music he puts on the soundtracks.

And he retains a lot of information. Have you heard his interviews? Tangents... all details of how he develops every bit and piece of his works...

But I still like QT. *shrugs*

But he lacks that overall "horsey" look and the way th chin juts out and has a distinct clif - that's more an Aries and Aqua trait. *** It could also be the influence of Uranus near the ASC (if the ASC was in Virgo, of course ).

Yes - Virgo rising/Pluto conjunct *would* give him a 8H Aries Sun, and that would explain why he has a filmmaker and a person tends to go for the shock factor. GOod observation! I suspect his attitude toward everything is "Go in fast and hard, and lave them dazed and confused." Ever see that footage of him going after that editor when he thought wrote crap about his father? The guy's a like a pitbull - a lot of posturing and pretense, but a bite to back it up as well. AND he wasn't going to back down - even though he was mistake. It was the wrong guy!

The stuff about the detail is interesting - I have only seen two films all teh way through, so I'm no expert But I know he's OBSESSIVE about details like music, setting, casting, dialogue, etc. It's one of the main reason he's an indie director - things have to done how he likes them, right down to those details. I too think that supports a Virgo rising. And Virgo rising puts his Aqua placements in his 6H.

- Her ASC is at 1 Virgo 58. If he has Pluto *rising* in 1H, his ASC needs to be between 6-10 degrees Virgo. That gives them conjunct ASCs, a good indicators of compatibility.

- An ASC at 6-10 Virgo puts his moon around 9-10 Taurs. That's conjunct Uma's Sun at 8 Tau 59. Another good aspect.

- Uma's Sun also falls in his 9H, a good placement for teacher/student relationships (whichis similar to a director/actor realtionship) or relationships where there's an good age difference (she's 13 years younger than him).

- Her moon at 22 Aqua would fall in his 6H, a good indicator of a harmonious working relationship. this is ideal for an empoyer/employee realtionship. She, the moon person, naturally follows his lead and wouldn't question his authority. She would have a lot of trust in his executive and directorial abilities, and he would find her very receptive to his ideas and expectations.

- Her Saturn is also conjunct his moon in the 9H. That's the kindof aspect that's good if there's emotional detachment in a relationship, like one that centers around work. He respects her as an actor deeply, and perhaps is infatuated with her, but knows this has to stay professional. She may feel that he's not an adequate romantic partner for her, yet his lunar receptiveness to her Saturn's judgements may make her feel that she get to have her own input in their working relationship and friendship, even through he's her boss.

Aries Asc give a sportish, impulsive, always-on-the-run look - not him at all.

The Scorpio version is too quiet for this very talkative person (scorpio is the most 'silent' signs; and hidden). too compelling. not him.

his looks are somehow shabby and messy, uncoordinated (even when dressing up), soemthing simillar to woody allen (an other virgo asc!)

after checking these sites, i'm convinced: VIRGO (with pluto and uranus near by; so many ppl 'seeing' the scorpio and the 'antagonist' can't be wrong)
