If you have say saturn trine moon and saturn square moon is that a double whammy, or do the aspects both have to be either soft or hard?

Ideally it should be both harmonious if you're looking for soulmate aspects. But techinically yeah that could qualify as a double whammy, even though moon sq Saturn is as hard as hard aspects get.

But for example this last guy I was into, we had double whammy Venus/Mars adn Sun/Vesta:

- His Mars trine my Venus, and my Mars conjunct his Venus

- His Sun conjunct my Vesta and his Vesta trine my Sun

We even had double whammy NN-Chiron aspects:

- His NN conjunct my Chiron and my NN sextile his Chiron

But alas, not even 3 harmonious dw's could make this relationship happen. Oh well. We even had some nice midpoint contacts. C'est la vie.

Thank Gemini Nymph!

Could you also call it a double whammy if you have like... mars sextile venus and venus parallel mars? OR sun conjunct moon and moon parallel sun

and what if you have mars sextile venus, venus trine mars and venus parallel mars could you call that a triple whammy??

I haven't seen any noteable astrologer endorse a double whammy like that. Declinations are a little different in the energy they produce and how they manifest, and the astrological community is still feeling them out. So I don't want to get your hopes up.

Just be assured that parallels are generally thought of as positives in synastry

weather one aspect is soft

and the second is hard dosent matter unless you are looking for a different answer....

I don't think soo....

But here is an example of a double whammy

Person A's Sun trine
Person B's Moon

Person A's Moon square
Person B's Sun

Another one (Possibly a soulmate)....

Person A's Sun conjunct
Person B's Moon

Person A's moon conjunct
Person B's Sun

Another one...

Person A's venus quincunx
Person B's Saturn

Person A's Saturn sextiles
Person B's Venus

However I'm not to sure about the parallel aspects in a double whammy!
