I know that all of us on here try to be as evolved as we possibly can, but since most of us have a firm understanding of our own charts, and who we would "ideally" be matched with, it seems inevitable that we would become somewhat biased in who we'd be best to share our time with. Having said that, for each of you, do you find yourselves thinking or saying that you would never or could never date a particular sun sign? Or, did you used to say that until someone came along of that sun sign and surprised you?Give me your input, and tell me what your major placements are as well. -CC IP: Logged |

I wouldn't date gemini,taurus or virgo men. I feel like I can't trust gemini men and I don't really find them attractive, however I have gemini friends and they're fun to be with, I like talking to them and spending time with them but I would'nt consider getting in a relationship with gemini. Virgo men are too detail oriented for me, I don't feel any connection with virgo men. I would'nt date a taurus because when they commit, it's very suffocating for me. I need space and freedom, and taureans don't seem to understand that, and their temper is really bad, when they are angry they can't control themselves and it's a big turn off for me, their need for security is too much for me, these are the reasons why I wouldn't get in a relationship with a taurean. There may be exceptions of course , but this is what I observed in those 3 signs in general. Sun sagittarius

I like men to be honest, reliable, and not flightly/flakey....

Hmmm, I think what I use to say about Cappy woman. But the more I think, I feel that I wouldn't welcome Cap woman in my life never again.

Libra, they are charming, but too indecisive.. >.<; and too charming :P lol..Capricorn, dunno why, just never got along with one.. ^_^; Virgo, too much criticism and I'm too sensible and take everything too personal XP my bro is a double Virgo and we just find it hard to get along :P Gemini, they feel like friends only.. ^_^; Aries, too impulsive, lack of maturity and too much temper (thought I'm Aries XP ).. The signs I feel most affinity with are Scorpio (bf), Pisces (mom) and Cancer (best friend).. ^_^ also Aquarius (dad).. I'm Aries/Aries with Virgo asc, and 8th house stellium.. IP: Logged |

You always have to take care of Cancer men, because they want to be protected from the problems of the universe. They dont know how to handle difficult issues, and usually run away. I would not respect that kind of man. Also they are easily offended. They feel moody most of the time, because of the moon's changing phases. Virgos have a lack of enthusiasm. They love to criticize people, because they always strongly believe that they are rightful. They dont realize this makes them off-putting. Capricorn men dont let people dream. Once i made a big mistake telling about my dreams to a Capricorn man. He adviced me to be realistic, and wasnt very supportive. I would not prefer to be with a man who is not supportive of my goals. Lastly, i would not date Pisces men, because they are not really consistent with their emotions. They usually need to be motivated by others. It is very easy to put them out of action. LOL, as much as we all like to think that we shouldn't judge people by their sun signs, we still do, and do so more often than we admit. Sun signs are like an astrological first impression. As for me, right now, I'd be very hesistant to date anyone with an Earth Sun, or anyone with a Cancer, Scorpio or Sag Sun. That covers a lot don't it? Ah well, I'm picky. Basically Aries, Gem and Virgo, because these are the only ones I have come into closer contact with.
Aries have always been my best buddies, right from when i was a kid. But one reason was because we just jump start and irritate each other into activity. and activity is very productive. Overstimulation is not good, however - I would get a nervous breakdown. My father is an Aries, he is awesome, but his now really means NOW, and now is good for now, but not always and forever 
Gem guys are awesome, but they're better at mind games than I am, and I hate that - not knowing if they're lying, playing with me, or really genuine. They're masters of concealing their true thoughts, and they're always here and there at the same time. I need concreteness.
Virgo guys are one of the nicest guys, but I could never be in a relationship with them - the connection is there (I have a virgo moon), but it's more chummy than anything. If anything, they remind me of a childhood playmate.
Leos are charming, warm and loving, but I am not prone to supporting egos, especially if I feel they are wrong. They get very hurt as a result, and I just feel awful. And I like equality - I can't be their loyal subject, no way! So it's friends.
Basically I feel that I fit very few signs, I'd much rather be alone. Sun-Saturn conjunct. But I found someone who is very much like me, and he fits like a glove.

I think the moon and asc. are important in combination, but for sun sign, i would have to say libra. i'm afraid of getting into relationships right away and the librans i know seem to seek that, which scares me away...And Pisces, because they can be so unrealistic, I don't agree with them half the time. but i don't mind their sensitive, emotional nature...I'm talking about piscean guys here...i don't like to say this, but they don't know what they want and are wishy-washy. As for the sign I like to date it would be Scorpio. i'm a female Sun, Mercury, Jupiter in Taurus/Scorpio Moon/Cancer ASC.
Mars in Aquarius square Sun, Moon, Mercury, Jupiter, Pluto. Venus in Gemini opposition Saturn, Uranus.

Libras-it just doesn't work, too airy while I'm too watery.(I think us being square makes the differences obvious) However, I am open to friendship with them. Yes, I said it.Pisces-They're watery, but I'm really looking more into someone with a backbone.....and some integrity. Capricorn- I'm not into guys who are rigidly traditional and practical. (The key word being rigid) Oh, and I also don't like guys obsessed with what everyone else thinks. The arrogance I can do without as well... Leo-Drama Queens need not apply  Sun cancer

Interesting guys...I find too, that one bad seed tends to spoil the lot when you're an astrology buff. I dated a Gemini a few years ago, and MAN, I'm telling you, I walked away from that relationship absolutely loathing that man. I didn't think I'd ever give a Gem the time of day again, but one of my current bosses is a Gemini and he and I get along great...so you never know.My first boyfriend was a Cancer, and we had some great times, but I walked away from that just thinking that Cancer men were too weepy and needy for me. Never thought I'd EVER meet a Sag guy that I liked until I did meet one, and he was fantastic. In general I have to stay away from the air signs. I have virtually no air in my chart, and it's extremely difficult to find common ground with them. I tend to be easily bored by the men, although Libra and Gem women I do pretty well with. Although you and I are "evil twins" we seem to come up with similar answers/theories on everything. Every time I take a quiz in Free For All too, I almost always get the same answer as you. Gemini guys is a 50/50 thing.Some are decent and witty,some SUCK suck suck,flirtatious and fickle.

I know eatbooks and CC, but somehow till now the sun/leo's always irritate me. may be i hvn't met the more evolved types. in fact, to be frank, i hvn't met any leo's lately. i just hv ONE leo friend, who i actually get along quite well with.i do however get along quite well with ppl who hv moon/venus in leo. *edit* Ohhh! we were supd to mention the placements asc- cancer

My friend and I were having this discussion last night. She just began dating this guy, she's really into and found out he's a PISCES! She's super creeped out because her ex was a Pisces and turned into a complete psycho. I told her to give the guy a chance, after all 1/12th of the population are Piscean and they can't all be psycho.
Maybe it is better not to know someone's Sun Sign right off the bat? To give them a fair shot and all. Then again, maybe knowing gives you an advantage. Personally, I'd be hesitant to date a Cappie, Scorp, Gem, or Virgo. Now that I think about it, not sure about Taurus either. I had tried three times to get on with thee Capricorn males. They are excellent mates...for someone else. Scorps I've never dated, but we don't mingle even as friends. My opposites the Twins and I have some weird exchanges. Even with the females. Finally, the Virgos I've met just don't "get" me. I'll be laughing being my carefree self and the Virgos will think I'm laughing at THEM? My sweetie's father and brother are both Virgos, and this happens A LOT. I like them and all, but I don't feel FREE to be ME w/o hurt feelings aroudn them. Sag rising, Sun, Merc, Mars

I WILL walk away if a man tell me he is a GEMINI or a LEO.I have been in a club many times and have asked a man their birthday(yes I ask at first meeting) and if it has come up either one of those I have turned around and walked away. But I am just THAT bold.
I do not care for flakey womanizers. And that is it in a nutshell. I decided in 2002, Hey Zin...you are being really judgemental with this sunsign thing... go on E X P A N D your horizons and I did. I met and began dating a Gemini man and I tell ya it was not a gem! It was the WORST and I mean WORST relationship I have ever had. Whew, I tell you Pilsbury didn't have anything on this guy. Then I had a relationship with a HOT Brazillian Leo,(mmmmm, still to think of his ooozieness..ok wait) and so did many others I suspect. He was dumped immediately.
SCORPY DON'T PLAY THAT! So now...I stick to NO GEMINI'S OR LEO'S Been there, got a tee and it was cheap and clashed with my aura. ------------------

For me, no Virgo and Aqua, both signs seem way to aloof and cold(at least emotional wise). When ever I get involved with them I always end up hurt in the end(with out them caring what so ever). I really desire someone who also has a water Moon like myself, it's just easier to understand where their coming from...------------------

Well, it's a bit too radical to say that I would never date a particular sign, because you never know what might happen, but I don't see Cancer as a likely date. They're just creepy... and they'll slowly destroy me from the inside. Not just sun signs, but also applies to moon sign, and I guess ascendant too. I have hard time imagining myself with Taurus or Capricorn as well, though I guess I'd give it a try.IP: Logged |
