I had this aspect with my ex-husband... Sun, Mars & Venus in the 6th, in addition to having his Saturn exactly conjunct my ASC... ugh.He was a constant nag, constantly patronizing, talking down to me... "approving" or disapproving on whatever decision or request I made. Even if I didn't frame things in that way, even if I didn't "ask"... he woud still try to control everything and give his "permission"... if he knew I was not going to budge. Which infuraited me even more. It was like WHO CARES IF YOU THINK IT'S OK?!! I'M NOT ASKING YOU.
The funny thing is, anyone that knows me KNOWS it would be CRAZY to try to boss me around like the little wifey, lol... even my ex-husband said that's what attracted him in the first place... no other women ever told him to go jump before like I did.
But still, he tried to tame me/change me... didn't work.. hence he is my EX.
When I started my own business, he would act like my manager! He would call throughout the day from his job and harrass me about what I had gotten done, which orders had to go out, making sure I was on top of everything... it caused A LOT of strife, I REALLY resented it and would tell him to eff off and hang up on him, but he would NEVER quit it!!!
And even though we both loved food and eating, he would always try to eat less than I did, just to make me feel bad. I'm really into health and fitness... and he would constantly act so holier-than-thou if I decided to have a cheat day, constantly nitpicking my diet and exercise habits. Telling me stuff like "real athletes don't do this or that"... GAH... SHUT UP! Who is asking you? Seriously?!!
Personally, I am avoiding this aspect in the future, lol. My ex-husband was a Pisces and Pisces is intercepted in my chart, in the 6th... another reason not to ever date another Pisces, lol... I really didn't enjoy this aspect at all. Who would?
Of course, I think a relationship CAN work with the placement, especially if the rest of the chart is overwhelmingly positive. I don't believe in fatalistic placements. But, for a romantic relationship, there are much "nicer" places for your planets to reside in synastry
