The greatest objection I have to many, if not most, Leonine personalities is that they are more than willing to speak with an air of absolute authority and conviction on matters which they really have not investigated fully, and which, upon closer examination, one often finds that they know very little about. This especially annoys me because I put a lot of energy into finding the truth, and expressing my current understanding as provisional.

Some Leo personality can come along and say something in purely categorical terms, and the more easily influenced listeners will turn their attention to the Leo, because most people cannot tell the difference between someone who knows what they are talking about and someone who merely thinks and acts like they know what they are talking about. I find this to be true, to some extent, of many Taurus personalities as well. I think because they feel insecure when they dont know something, and they cannot bear that insecurity.

This is allied to my second objection, which is that Leos can be overbearing and domineering. They are often too busy conducting (and trying to conduct) others, and others' affairs, to take into consideration people's true strengths, weaknesses, and sensitivities. They are excellent at getting results, but not especially good at getting the best possible results, in the best possible way.

Having said that,
I LOVE Leos.

I've got the entire sign of Leo in my 7th house (i.e. "intercepted"), with Jupiter posited there. I love their energy, expressiveness, strength, enthusiasm, playfulness, romanticism, dignity, appreciation of virtue, and sense of the magnificent. I love the security I can feel when reassured by a confident Leo. I love when they are gentle and you can almost hear them purring like cats. I love their independence and willingness to say what others won't dare to. In fact, the more I think about it, the more disappointed I am that there isnt a beautiful Leo woman kissing my neck as I write this.
