Topic: Hair appointment transits... possible Venus square AC - help with degrees?

I've got a hair appointment coming up, but I've looked at the transits and it LOOKS as though Venus could be squaring my ascendant (and therefore also squaring transiting Pluto). So after my last Venus square Pluto hair disaster, I'm very, VERY wary. Within how many degrees is the influence effective? On 14 Feb, my appointment date, Pluto will be exactly conjunct my AC at 28 degrees Sagittarius and Venus will be at 20 degrees Pisces. Is this close enough to be "dangerous territory"?If I schedule a week earlier, Venus will be at 12 degrees Pisces, conjunct my natal Mars by 1 degree. Am I safer when Venus is at 12 degrees, or at 20 degrees? Or should I look at a completely different date altogether? Venus will ALSO be conjuncting transiting Uranus around this whole time too. This may sound ridiculous, but I left things way too open to the hand of fate four months ago and it was a serious disaster... it's taken all this time for my hair to recover. Mercury retrograde starts 14th of feb(i think), id reschedule...I had a new haircut recently...my rising is aquarius...and venus is in aquarius at the moment, and i loveeeeee ittttt!IP: Logged |

Oh, I didn't realise Zed's haircut was a victim of Venus square Pluto! God... I'm scared of how this will turn out! If I do the earlier appointment, Venus will conjunct Uranus AND my natal Mars at the same time... and I'm not even sure whether 12 degrees Pisces can be considered square to 28 degrees Sag... maybe I should wait til after, but I REALLY NEED MY HAIR DONE... ahhh I need some really specific advice!IP: Logged |

Help? It's a choice of either:Venus conjunct Uranus and conjunct natal Mars, 16 degrees away from squaring Pluto and my ascendant... (7 Feb) Oh yes and it will also be squaring my natal Venus. OR Venus 8 degrees away from squaring Pluto and my ascendant, 8 degrees since conjuncting Uranus, and 8 degrees since conjuncting natal Mars. (14 Feb) OR, wait a ridiculous amount of time til it's all over and look terrible regardless in the meantime. Sounds almost like either way I'm gonna look bad... EDIT: Ok I think it seems obvious NOT to go with 14 Feb... does it seem to anyone like 7 Feb could be disastrous? IP: Logged |

8 degrees orb for dwarf planet Pluto is a huge orb. So don't worry!

Hey GL~ It sounds like you seriously want and need a haircut. My instincts say to go with dates before the 7th of Feb, too, like Jan_A said. Just make sure you get someone who really listens to what you're telling them you want done to your hair. If you have even the slightest doubt about how well they are listening or understanding what you're saying....leave immediately and find someone you feel comfortable with, and bring a PIC with you. That is the best way of getting close to if not exactly what you want. I noticed I get the best haircuts from men. I don't know why this is, but the majority of women who cut my hair will screw it up so bad! I wind up with something not even close to what I described to them. And, yes, people use the current planetary positions to guide them when to garden, get haircuts, dental work, surgeries, apply for jobs, go on interviews, travel, buy things from appliances to pets; pretty much anything under the Sun.

lol yeah I know it sounds completely ridiculous. But I had a hair disaster last year... a truly awful one, I can't describe how it looked and the work it took to make my hair recover. It was after the fact, that I found my appointment occured when Venus was square Pluto and my ascendant. So... never again will I make that mistake. Once bitten, twice shy. And yeah my current hairdresser is awesome. He's the one who corrected the last girl's mistake... it took four appointments and a lot of hard work and caution, but he came through for me. I trust him to no end, but I'm making doubly sure with the transits just to make sure there are no nasty surprises like a slip of the scissors or something going wrong with the colour. IP: Logged |

Oookay... I just checked and on the 3rd, which is the day I can most likely make it to an appointment, it's a full moon in Leo... yay! I want my hair cut so that it will grow faster... But the moon so happens to be conjunct Saturn... hopefully this will only be a minor problem?  IP: Logged |

If you are unsure, don't go! On the other hand i am sure, the problems you had with Venus-Pluto won't repeat!
P.S. Jupiter will be in Sagittarius, in good aspect to Moon. IP: Logged |

Well I got my appointment for the 3rd... it's within the dates you said and I trust the opinions on this forum! It's also a full moon and I did want my appointment for either a waxing or full moon (Leo is even better)... so I won't worry too much about Saturn... all that can happen is that my hair MIGHT NOT grow as fast I would like, hopefully, sooo... I'm just going to go on the 3rd and hope to get a GOOD RESULT! At least Venus won't be squaring Pluto or my ascendant and that's all I care about.  Thanks for the advice! IP: Logged |
